Luigi's zair has a weird property in the sense that it can't be reflected, and sometimes it can't be beaten out. In this case, Rosa can't absorb the plunger.

it gets rid of luma even when rosalina is shielding because it is a multi hit attack. most multi-hit can poke luma out of shield

old comment, luma is an annoying star to deal with. Once luma is out rosas easier to deal with for 10 secs since she cant star bit yo combos, less combo damage taken, can luma shot you etc. Rosa cant do powerful down attack without luma basically a pretty floaty punching bag. 😪😭🥰😫🤗

I don't really like his playstyle but this is the one set I've watched where Dabuz's victory didn't leave a sour taste in my mouth. He adapted amazingly.

He adjusted well to Elegant's playstyle. While I kinda agree that he's boring at times, seeing him adapt to Elegants fastfall zair + dash attack sequence was impressive.

And that matters because..? He's in it to win money. Entertainment is probably the last thing on his mind

The way dabuz plays, at least in this matchup, is exactly how he should be playing to increase his chances of winning. Camping with tethered luma and starbits is the best way for her to counter Luigi's plunger, which by the way can lead to anything from 30% to a stock. It's also very important not to go too aggressive against Luigi with strings, because he has a frame one invincible move that can suck you in.

hahaha, hating dabuz for whatever reason at this point, dude he is playing rosalina, she is not a broken or super strong character right now, and still complain. the set was fair enough, and both of them played great.

0703 Sider I get what you mean but to be fair, Luigi has a pretty cheesy wall himself between his plunger and cyclone. Luma counters him pretty well, but only if she’s alive and Luigi has a really good dash attack to kill luma with so it’s more even than people give credit for. In my opinion, at least, as a Rosa player.

I mean, if luigi gets a grab at 0% its a free stock smh. Elegeant had every advantage
