That Discrimination Lawsuit looking kinda spicy, especially considering that the terminations have mostly been Female or Non binary. It seems like the Girls and the guys who don't agree with the clique just get thrown into the blender and treated like shit until they either leave of their own volition or are thrown out for a series of Minor and often Bullshit offenses but they seem to favor the tactic of borderline psychological fear mongering to keep talents in line. Leading to really bad imposter syndrome that either makes them reliant on the Company or makes them scared to speak out.

LM is right, but there is no way any of the ladies Niji banished will act on this. Doki has repeatedly stated she no longer gives a damn and just wants to be left alone (which they finally seem to understand). Sayu refuses to even try because she knows her mental health and finances would be destroyed in court. Even with Matara, Mint, Quin, and Kuro, all of them would rather move on because Anycolor would just buy its way out of trouble. Nothing will change unless a government entity comes after these companies. And it'll have to be a western government, because Japan/Korea/etc are too mired in their company-first mentality.

You know something? People doubt Idol EN and with good reason because of the recent dramas however they proven time and time again they made tons of mistakes but they learned from Hololive. They learned from failure and do corrective action. Not whining like a baby and when they need help they asked for it. People say approaching LM like Idol did is damage control. From what I see though they are trying to be a better company. Idol is based and respected in my eyes here. They apologised and not doubling down. Idol's apology? 100% accepted by me as a Vtuber fan.

I don't think there's actually a clique, but there's definitely favoritism in Nijisanji. If there actually was a clique, then Ethyria wouldn't have been snubbed for merch their first year in Nijisanji. Iirc, they only got their first merch after a year in Nijisanji, and all they got was crappy merch back then compared to Luxiem who had three merch releases before their 6 month anniversary. There's definitely favoritism, which is pretty obvious when it comes to the boys and Elira, but I don't think that favoritism encompasses their entire friend group or "clique". Mind you, Nina and Pomu were one of the closest people to Elira and they still got treated like shit by the management.

The way to get Niji to take this seriously is to get the Japanese market to take this seriously The EN market and the JP market don't normally see eye-to-eye cos of the difference in work culture and how each market views corporations. The JP scrutinized talents like Zaion due to the supposed breach in contract. "If she broke the rules then she deserves to get fired." If we have the JP market to know about these allegations and evidence, then maybe there's a chance some backlash could happen.

The whole statute of limitations for refunds shouldn't be an issue if the company told the person to wait and still didn't deliver but I'm not a lawyer.

But getting to hang with your Oshis on stream and meet and greet to? That is what we signed up for. Even Ollie talk to her own fans on stream via in game VC. in certain games to as Holo ID is much more tame so the management allowed it.

most countries will have laws around non-receival of a product, and your bank will generally not have a time limit on when you can request a refund. if you contact paypal again and state if they do not refund the purchase that you will do so through the bank instead. This will generally be a kick in the nuts for paypal as they will incur fines from some banks for processing fees and the likes, and banks can also start blacklisting companies like Niji if refund requests happen too much. You can also contact the BBB as this will also but a rather large black mark on the company. I had to do the same shit with Bungie as they have some of the worst customer support and shipping I have ever seen

I disagree a little. What makes it scary is it's not completely out of thin air. Who are the favored talents up till this point that we know of? Mostly male. Elira, still unclear. Just based on that, their reputation is already damaged and they can't argue much against it. If they do? They'll probably end up talking too much, revealing there may be MORE favoritism behind the scenes.

A simple pattern, which obeys simply where the money makers are: "I was in charge of the EN project, if it failed I would have lost my job, thank you for making it a success" - EN manager to Luca in Raz's document. It's been known for a long time that it wasn't until Luxiem started rolling in the money that Nijisanji EN didn't started rolling in the big bucks. The first ten female talents didn't have the same success in comparison. Don't get me wrong, it's good they had something that made them stand out in the EN Vtuber scene. But they decided to go fully Japanese corporation with their business model and gave the bare minimum attention to the other talents and that's when they started having favoritism. And as it happens, they didn't realize they were blatantly giving priority to The Boys and after enough time with continuous negligence and the whole Selen termination (and further negatives to projects to other talents like the heart breaking clip of the now-privated Members-only Pomu stream in which she shared being denied a once in a lifetime opportunity), it's clear that the favoritism is strongly gender-based, which got to happen, only because that's where their money maker is, which is only because of the Fandom reacted much stronger to their male talents than to the ones that existed already at the time, being all-female at the time. It's interesting, however, to see that after the two boys-only waves, we got two mixed waves that had a not so similar success, and then the latest two with Wilson's wave and then finally the wave without an official name that clearly showed how deeply they dropped the ball in any talent and wave that wasn't an immediate success or comparable to the existing ones in Luxiem and Noctix is a clear tale-tell of how bad they are messing up with their management and as a consequence, favoritism emerges. And to top it all off, it's gender-based! So yeah, it's not necessarily that they are giving preferential treatment to the male talents (let's not forget they terminated Yugo within the first few months without much notice) their preferred talents, which have brought in the most money to the EN branch, are male. Which is still enough for a discrimination lawsuit under USA law!

Im typically pretty anti-corpo (though I enjoy and support the talents themselves), but hearing that Legal Mindset is going to be working with Idol on their contracts is nice to hear. Having legal counsel that actually understands the industry and the ramifications of the contractual agreements is a step forward here I think, and I hope the contract that comes out of it is fair and just to all parties involved. Even better if it inspires other agencies to follow suit.
