nice job! for anyone else who doesn't speak 'Stricagnolese', "Z&$J4@" translates to C#,G#,C#,G#,B,D# with spider capo on 2nd fret just for B and D# bringing them up to C# and F respectively. Think drop D tuned down an extra half step across the board with the exception of G (up a half) and B (stays put), then capo the highest two on fret 2. P.S. if anyone wants it, that capo is called the "SpiderCapo" (spidercapo.com).
To a person who doesn't play regularly you would think this is all being done live. Nope. It's studio recorded probably took many attempts. Still an awesome acoustic cover tho. A little misleading but you can’t deny this guys talent.
Watching these kinds of videos makes me want to cry out of joy and respect. The hours put and the passion, love towards music, the visualization, imagination. Huge Respect.
+Tankbait Yes and no, the music that you're hearing in the video is pre-recorded and while he IS playing while walking, it probably wouldn't be as good as it sounds in the video.
+Tudor Mihaila I've been lucky enough to see Luca live and to be honest he is even better live. He is absolutely incredible, if you have the chance to see him you definitely should. He can walk, talk and joke while he's playing.
Nice work... the double-handed tapping/percussion technique reminds me of Preston Reed. I'm surprised he can keep his fingernails so long on his right hand with all the hammering and tapping.
I've had to say goodbye to so many people, friends, family and caretakers, especially during the pandemic. This song let's me know GOD ain't done with me yet. God bless you so much Luca.❤️
We cover Thunder Struck every now and again the way AC-DC does it. But what gets me, How can anyone who appreciates the guitar dislike your talent? Great job dude!
I never cease to be amazed. I love metal guitar, but Luca has taken acoustics to a new level. I love Paul Gilbert and Joe Satrioni, Vinnie Moore and Steve Vai, most neo-classical rockers, but would put Luca up against them any day. There's nobody like him. He does tribute to most rockers and popular artist by doing their covers. I hope to see him amaze his audiences with an astounding original piece some day, a soon to be Italian classic. We also need to give credit to the mans luthier.
Angus Fraser HE CAN!! I THINK HE HAS A VID WHEN HES PLAYING A GUITAR IN YIS AND AND THE OTHER GUITAR IT LAYING DOWN ON A TABLE!! ITS SO F@%KING SICK!!! IT AWESOME!!!!!
In terms of precision, timing and crystalclear sound you're one of the best I've ever heard. One can easily overplay an acoustic guitar if you want too much....
He could play music direct from Angels... I can only imagine how well he makes love_lol. That's exactly what he's doing when he plays guitar💖.. #inspiration
David Lawrence not to two separate beats, no. I serve on a worship team and we do this song called "All My Fountains". It's got a special clapping rhythm but I need to stop singing if I want to do it ;-;
It’s been years since I first watched this and I swear to god it’s still the greatest guitar and even music performance i’ve seen in my whole life. Brilliant, perfection
The 590 thumbs down must be from bots that are programmed to hate everything righteous and good for any semi intelligent individual with half an ear for music will recognize the sheer talent and dedication to his craft that brings to the masses the beautiful sounds that are capable from a simple acoustic guitar. i never would have thought to use a guitar in this manner without videos like these to give me ideas. thank you for sharing this awesome talent with the masses, il na kesh my friend
What??? Who in their sane mind would put a thumbs down on this video...?? Just shows how you can't take some comments serious anymore. Some people are just angry, or not right in their mind, or too bored and never learned to be respectful or to be a respectable person. Maybe just a big lack of self worth and a big overdose of egocentric personality issues. Ugh. I've dealt with goofy folks like this on my own site. I had made a little vapor set up on my own generator and it worked, so I shared it, knowing others in my home state might benefit if they want to try it... but some low quality personality came up on the comments telling me it can't work, without even trying to do it themselves. Uh, duh, I have a working one right in front of me and videoed it, so go try it yourself instead of blowing a lot of hot air, right? Oh well, life is too short to waste valuable energy on a negative contrary individual..lol...Wow!! I really should stop typing, I wrote a novel..lol.. Sorry!!!
Every time Luca Stricagnoli plays his guitar, he illustrates the mediocrity of the rest of us. His covers and original music are so enthralling and, at the same time, has such a humbling effect.
I'm sure people tell you how absolutely amazing you are at your instrument and I'm sure you know, but it's only humility that gets a person to this point because they recognize they could always get better. I absolutely love this song and this performance is beautiful.
Just filled me with a surge of Happiness that Thunderstruck could be so beautiful on Acoustic as well 🙌🏼🙏🏼🔥 Is there any step-by-step tutorial on this ?
Awesome freakin job 😃 probably the most incredible guitarist I have ever seen thank you for sharing your talent. From Ian Little - Northern Alberta, Canada
I've heard this so many times, and now my 2 cents worth : GOOSEBUMPS & TEARY EYES. Some music, whether this, some blues, rock and some reiligious church music brings to my eyes. Just gotta love it.
Luca Stricagnoli had a girlfriend once. Rumor has it that they got intimate, and she said "play me like one of your guitars" She hasnt been seen since. Edit: this comment got more attention than I anticipated. Thanks haha!
And you thought X-men weren't real. And I thought I could not fall more in love with Luca. OMG. What a blessing to the world. Hey RU-vid - disable the dislike button. The Lion does not concern itself with the opinions of the muskrat.
The best in the world for all of time . Esp if you have an ear for music , my old was a music teacher he would of loved this . He was into flamenco and classic stuff .
+Jake Andriuk The visual aspect of the video was quite bland, but I was captivated by the audio. A lot of folks have a difficult time relating to a different artist's interpretation and execution of a "Classic" song, hence the urge to dislike. I found it to be a solid and refreshing rendition masterfully performed.
thirdstone blues you believe that this can be played by millions?? Are you trolling?? 😒 I can play this song pretty good on electric but what this guy does is way beyond what most people can even imagine playing
