I bought one of those light switches for my 70 Bonneville ( not sure where I bought it or the brand but it looks original) and it was shorting out to the handle bar. Had to line the inside of the switch housing with thick paper to keep button plunger from hitting the inside of the switch's housing. Also the wires did not match the wire diagram in the manual. So, good idea to get a switch with the right color coded wires! I'm sure I wired it correctly because hi and low beam work properly and the horn worked but sometimes the horn would stick on or start blowing without touching the button. Lining the inside of the switch housing with paper cured the problem.
