@@xringkiller well it is def more catch a can like but you're forgetting the guard approach to the game, catch doesn't have a guard menality like these bjj guys have, you slam control and go for the straight submission without having a series of pin poistions unlike bjj.
I'm new to submission grappling. I really want to compete in this sport but what are the different organizations? And what are the differences? I have wrestled a bit and started bjj 2 months before covid then stopped training all together. I'm 22. Do you think there's still time for me?
One thing Jiujitsu tought me was if you Win your learned something from your opponent. If you lost you also learned something from your opponent. And at the end leave with a smile 😃 that their was mutual respect. Oss!
Концовка сногсшибательная.Киборг на серьезных щах,хладнокровно и профессионально разобрал соперника,техника на уровне,удушение сзади и выход на этот сабмишн как из учебника.Заслуженная победа в доминирующем стиле
There should be different points for different takedowns in bjj. The point system is already based on a players hypothetical ability to inflict damage. The takedowns should reflect that as well.
When these idiots take steroids without proper care they suffer. He's bleeding more often from the increase of red blood cells and probably needs to donate blood to balance that out.
Great opening double and eventuall suplay by Cyborg! This guy would have made a great wrestler. Edit: loved his hand control and eventual WRIST roll that set up his tossing in the hooks as he takes back. Amazing. He really is a natural folkstyle wrestler.
Pretty sure this what Gordon Ryan talks about, Cyborg got his points early and pretty much just prevented him from doing anything, not sure a single sub was attempted??

@@danrod3790 mate you gotta be very naive to think that in a sports competition enviornment where theres absolutely no testing people wouldnt use PEDs. Everebody in bjj uses PEDs just like every pro bodybuilder does, and just like 95% of UFC fighters did before USADA.
The hulk didn't get it the w, but I gotta say I don't think I've ever seen anyone try that arm throw from the ground. I might try that in the future, I've never really seen that.
It's a drop seio nage only really works from standing when the guy's momentum is coming on top of you, not sure why he did it from there, maybe just to shrug him off of his back
@@jiujitsuboy I know used to do them in wrestling , but it looked like it could of worked and it was kinda like u and I both said something different. I might actually think about throwing that in if someone trys taking my back. I'm a dork I guess? I just get kinda pumped when I learn something I can add to my tool box when grappling, that would be one I think.
Kind of. It's not easy, but turning your elbow is probably the best way out of it from that position. The risk is that when the arm is straight, Barbosa could trap it next to his ear. Gordon Ryan did this to Buchecha. I'd say it was a calculated risk on Cyborg's part. They were in half guard and the straight arm lock leverage is easier to get out of from there, as opposed to butterfly or full guard.
on the street rules Cyborg would loose once he droped the first blood....but of course that suplex in aslphalt would be deadly..so basicly they both lost!!! Jokes aside, awesome fight.
