I hope this was just thought up for RU-vid content. As others have said there is not the infrastructure for this. This is a tiny town with no space for all these additional people. And why the hell do they want a ship? This is so random and has nothing to do with this area or our history.

How did you go from that tranquil inspiration of Strawberry hot springs in Steamboat to Disneyland with pirates and lazer lights?! This is sad. I've always loved that piece of property 😢 I hope you will reconsider and go with a more quiet healing design.

any update on this project? Been 2 years can’t find anything about it. I wonder maybe if they ended up having problems getting it approved or not enough funds but I hope not id love to see it completed

Great idea but your gonna destroy what we have. We work with the natural elements. Your going to destroy our little town vibe. Parking is already bad enough this will make it worse.

So so sad! Lava has been such a wonderful relaxing getaway for years. We love the town and the feel of this place. I hate to see it ruined by something "city " style 😒

Have you actually studied the logistics of this? Parking, eating, where people will stay? Lava is beautiful--let's keep it that way. We have a large hot spring pool and an Olympic size swimming pool. A great motel up on the hill with parking would be such a positive thing for the city.

I am so sad to hear this! I grew up in Lava and visit frequently because my parents still live there. Did you even consider what the locals wanted or the parking situation that already does NOT exist due to so many tourists? Please reconsider before following through with these plans...or at the very least have a discussion with the local community involved BEFORE you continue!

Please don’t do this!!! Keep it in the big cities and leave the small town feel of Lava the way it is!! Parking is already horrendous because of all the tourism! Leave it alone!!!

Like another hot spring, commercial project is needed? Lava wants to stay as it is and keep the small town feel. Why don't you build a two level parking lot--that is what is needed,
