Fun fact: When Fordo was to be given an award for his victory on Muunilist, he turned it down and had it be given to a clone trooper that died while fighting alongside the ARC Troopers during the battle. That's a real display of honor right there.

If Delta Squad could come back into Canon, then I think Fordo has a good chance. (Yes, there's nothing about Delta Squad in Canon yet, but that doesn't mean we won't see them again)

First, they were already supposed to be clones of Jango Fett when they made the Clone Wars shorts. Second, Fordo and his group were ARC Troopers. ARC Troopers were some of the first clones created, they were the least modified, and the Cloners had a hard time controlling them so the ARC Troopers were put into storage. They were taken out of storage when Kamino was attacked and the Jedi needed backup Troopers for the defense. This was shown in detail in the Republic comics by Darkhorse, around issue 52-ish I think. ARC Troopers were specially trained by Jango Fett himself. ARC Troopers were a type of Clone not a rank as shown in the Clone Wars series

Honestly it would be cool to see Captian Fordo as the antagonist for an arc of the bad batch show. A killteam of Alpha series ARC troopers hunting them down would make for a thrilling set of episodes. Kinda like the cut idea to have commander Cody in rebels,but he’d honestly come up lacking against even regular clone commando units.

Ki adi mundi i feel is such a weak jedi. If anything went wrong he was usually involved. He was quick to shoot down any ideas about force ghost within season 6 he failed on hypori overall as a jedi hes pretty poor and narrow minded

It would be groundbreaking if near the beginning of the series it could show us the bad batch and delta squad team up in Kashyyyk since they were both present in the battle

I just don't get, why is not cannon yet again? Everyone loves him from the older fans, and everyone wants him to be cannon again! If you show the 2003 to a "younger" fan or just to someone who haven't seen it, he will just want him too! Becouse he is just so cool, and a good, and well made character. (Of course from the limited amount of info we have.)

I want Fordo to return and meet Rex, I love once we've seen him he wears a tattered cloak presumably from Grevious with pieces from Grevious, battle droids, Durge armor pieces and so on, more a mysterious figure and explain what happened to him during the events of order 66 as well as his backstory, also make Duge canon again, I believe the 2003 Clone Wars series happened from a certain point of view and not all are accurate what happened hence the ending, so yeah

Love this cartoon series since it made star wars truly larger-than-life (which can be debated if the lack of characterization is a weakness or strength). Would love to see at least Fordo’s exploits to become canonized

Fordo is the kind of clone who would refuse order 66 (both legends and canon) by sheer unfiltered rip and tear energy.

I would do absolutely anything for a series that featured Fordo, Dirge, and Grievous, at his 2003 cartoon power level. The fact that they all had such few lines did admittedly make them so much cooler, but would still love to see more lore on these absolute units. Rated R star wars maybe? >:)

Ok so heres my explanation for the captain/commander thing. in the us army commander is not an official rank it's a position For example a company is lead by an officer usually a captain or sometimes a 1st lieutenant This unit leader is called a company commander. Or you go higher up and have a battalion commander. So a lt colonel can be a commander. This is seen when captain rex is promoted to company commander in the final episodes of tcw. The show even makes an effort to show this when he calls the 332nd company to attention. So yeah I'm rambling a little and maybe I'm wrong within the context of star wars but from my experience a captain can be a commander.

2003 Clone Wars must be recanonized again, well at least some parts, they might as well reanimate the 2003 Clone Wars and overwrite the series to fit into canon to help the continuity

I hate that when Star Wras does something "good" Filoni is given more credit than he deserves, but when something "bad" happens, it's Disney's fault. Finoni is literally the reason so many amazing characters aren't in canon or were ruined in his mid version of The Clone Wars.

I don't think Fordo being called commander is that weird. We know him as Captain Fordo but we still call Rex "Captain Rex" after he was promoted to commander. What we call a character depends on how we remember him.
