To those who still watch all the Star Wars Disney + shows, you're the reason they have the money to hire 45 LGBT commissars to force their employees into submission.
They had a deal going on until the 19th... so I'm paying $1.99 for a month to binge through as much as I can. The fact is, Disney is a giant and the only way you can avoid giving them money in your day-to-day is if you live off grid and have no interactions with greater society. I'm pretty sure they got money from me just going to a football game last weekend. They're just entangled with a lot of entertainment.

I mean, it's one thing to be fooled by one of its many subsidiaries, but to directly go to the source and pay them is knowingly helping them sustain the business that funds the lunacy of which Gina was a victim of. At least own it. You like what they provide you with and you paid for it.
You are absolutely right of course and for that reason I have never subscribed to any of the corporate streaming services currently defecating on popular franchises. It gladdens my heart to hear fans calling out all the nefarious bullshit pushed by these soulless entities though disheartening that so many have not cancelled their services.
We all know how this would have gone if she had done it. She wouldn’t get a word in edge-wise to rationally explain herself because a bunch of weirdos with no life experience or useful job skills keep interrupting and talking over her until she is bullied into submission. For as progressive as Lucasfilm says they are, I have never felt less welcome as a fan than I do nowadays, so I would like to thank them for at least telling me up front they don’t want my money. Not spending money and time on shitty Disney Star Wars has helped me out with inflation and finding time to exercise

Losing Gina Carano really sucked. It was always good to see her; she will be missed in Season 3 of The Mandalorian. But who needs a strong female character when you have a Mary Sue with no personality dominating your trilogy?

Check the Aug 28 Clifton Duncan podcast with her. At some point she said before the trouble she was told by somebody at Lucasfilm to unfollow certain accounts because "they were saying critical things about so-and-so." No doubt who so-and-so was, but her refusal to unfollow those youtubers/twitter accounts might have lit KK's fuse, since she is the one (justifiably) blamed for what has been wrong with Star Wars under her tenure.
I understand not being a bigot, but Lucas Film originally was not bigoted. Even their mythology was incredibly open minded. They explored themes of Speciesm amongst other things. And even Genocide. They're "progressively" (pun intended) killing Star Wars as a franchise with all this modern woke shit. Seriously stop already. Stop trying so hard and trying to be such "allies". You're doing more harm than good.

They are just being honest about the product, which does not stop them from openly criticising the business practices of the company. Now, if they started to say that Disney is a better company, then your statement about integrity would be more accurate.

To those hoping "Star Wars can still be saved", if there was a secret superhero inside Lucasfilm with a plan (like some simpletons actually believe), something would have already be done about erasing all the garbage and making a Clone Wars-style CGi trilogy that George wrote. Yes, but what are you ALL going to do about it???? Almost all who watched this would simply say 'Life goes on', keep head down in real life and tails between legs. Telling yourself it will not happen to you. While creators selling show tickets, merch, monetize episodes and appeal for contribution to fill coffers and tear down any other creators you can, so you can get more of their shares. So many of you are just feeding off our frustration like the DEM or REP grievances to ply your version of money making for you. As for doing anything to push effective to get change to happen, year in year out i see you and your lot just got richer, but the status quo stays the same or worst. Which is good business for you creators on all sides.
Some LGBT freaks on Twitter kepts asking her to put pronouns in her bio. SHe got tired of it and put "beep bop boop" as pronouns. From there they started harrassing her for being not transgender friendly.
I’m generally a supporter of the LGBT community…but this is completely absurd. It feels like they’re almost trying to brainwash their employees with this.
