0:11 Because Disney wants more Money and Power. Like most of the Companies and Studios. Against all morality and respect. It’s not about telling stories and making art anymore. Just about Politics and Money
"They won't let women make more than 3 movies." - Lesbian Headlamp. That poor, oppressed soul. As we all know all the men in this country are given the opportunity to make a dozen big-budget Hollywood movies at a minimum.
Man is genuinely a deep thinker and never knew about the interviews but I picked up on some of what he was putting down in the Star Wars themes and hearing him talk about it makes sense
I havent watched any star wars since revenge of the sith. I put the beginning of the 1st of the disney ones on for 2 minutes and turned it off, I tried to get into the mandelorian as it kept getting recommended to me. I couldnt get past episode 2 or 3. Star wars stopped after the 6th movie for me, all this after is just cash grab, non canon fantasy
The thing is yes, you do have to be bold to make it in the industry, but boldness alone won’t make up for a lack of talent and love for the medium film.
Mark Hamill, if you listen this, I'm sorry I didn't listen to you and my parents about the warning of the current state of Hollywood and these movies franchises. Cause I also fell into this trap that they call fandom when I like a movie or show. Like Transformers, Jurassic Franchise, Marvel and Star Wars. But then I continue on to be a fan and I spend so much money and time buying their merchandise, watching movies and shows like it's part of my life now. But as I grew older, when I want stopped this madness, it's already too late and I can't get it out of it cause when I buy a ticket to see another movie in another franchise, either it's Marvel, Star Wars or Transformers, it's like we keep giving them money and they will make more and more of these movies that lacks quality. But thankfully, I slowly started to stay away from this "Fantasy Path" and focus on my real life like my studies and my job, to keep myself distracted and busy instead wasting my time again in my franchise fantasy land. Thank you Mark Hamill, for your honest and true statement of Hollywood now. And my parents too.
