For connoisseurs of great bel canto singing, there is nothing around today that is more exciting than Pavarotti and Sutherland singing together. New voices soon become familiar and people grow bored. Young voices soon grow old and are forgotten. Great voices are always remembered and are always a thrill to hear.

Singing about young love at 50+ doesn't bother me a bit when it's this exquisite! These two were meant to sing together for eternity! How magnificent they were!

Pavarotti had an enormous respect for Sutherland, and their warm friendship is so good to see. He was particularly impressed with her breathing technique, so I've heard. Two truly great singers giving us moments of great enjoyment.

This is one of the most exquisit duets ever sung.Yes Paveroti is being restainful and Sotherland aoul singing. The only duet that might surpase it is from the Pearls F/ishers Netanel

Para ti neus , la mujer que me enseño a escuchar.

Me quedo con Scippa y Kraus. Voces menos potentes pero con un gusto y técnica mejor q la de Pavarotti. Como voz bella única, pero en la ópera no todo es una voz bella.

big ol' 50+ singers singing technically perfect and somewhat slow, about young love, is hard to watch for me now. I am hooked on the younger singers out there now. Much more exciting to watch/listen.

Pavarotti no sabia en muchos momentos hacer coloraturas, aquí se come unas cuantas. Le falta la técnica y la clase de otros tenores.

Kraus y Flórez superan en este papel a Pavarotti. En matizacion y línea de canto.
