I put a screensaver on my phone asking "Are you dreaming?". Reminds me to do a reality check each time i look at the time. Will write an update if it works. 🙏
This man never quites i am so proud of him but still demand for lucid dream is too low cuz many people don't even know about it some people know but don't try and those who try and seek only gets here, so idk what to say but u are hard working man i think if u start other channels u can get millions of subs.... thats all man if u saw this i hope u get it
I did see and I genuinely appreciate such a nice comment. Shows you're a lovely person with empathy. Thank you. Maybe someday I'll start a second channel
This video actually made me realize a huge flaw I had in my thinking. I try to train my brain by writing a dream diary, BUT I now realize that I am way too focused on stuff that doesn't train my brain at all. I for example write down the stuff that happened in my dream or how real it felt and so on, instead of focussing more on the differences that are between my dreams and reality. For example, I had a dream, which had time skips and place changes that would never be possible in reality. So now I still want to write down what happens, since it trains my brain to remember stuff, but I more so want to focus on writing down the differences, so it's easier for my brain to notice these differences in my dream and be able to realize that I am actually dreaming at that moment. Writing a dream diary helped me immensely, by the way, since I remember my dreams much more often now than I did when I started this lucid dreaming project/training.
I like that this shifts the perspective on what 'instant' means in the context of lucid dreaming, and what techniques and reality tests are and aren't.
In my dream this morning I didn't like the setting, I said "Na, I'm not feeling this." By the side of a highway then teleported myself to an interdimensional 711 gasstation through willing myself to go there. But, I don't remember if I had critical thinking, and I don't know if I was lucid. Can you excert willed dream control, without lucidity?
Oddly yes, dream control isn't unique to lucidity, the same rules apply even if the mind is in potato state and believes some other magical force is at work.
Yeah, I had a similar experience in that when I was younger I had a dream where I started to float as if it were some kind of balancing technique that I was practicing, but I definitely never realized I was lucid. In a lot of my following dreams I was able to fly on command even though I was never lucid in those dreams. It's been a while since then though, and I've since lost that ability whenever I'm not lucid.
@@elliotp2486 I've had very similar dreams. I would "discover" that I can float up into the air like some hot air balloon -- but instead of realizing "Cool! I'm dreaming!" instead I would think "Cool! I didn't know I could do this!" :-( Maybe if I had those dreams often enough, and close to each other, I'd do better -- but then again, maybe not.
I guess both phrases ("lucid dream instantly" and "lucid dream tonight"), really are used to mean the same thing: These people are trying to convince you that you can do it with no actual effort, time, or struggle at all. Like, just do this one easy thing (one weird trick!) today, and the very next time you are dreaming you will be lucid. Which is of course quite silly, as you've pointed out many times.
I think the problem described in tip 2 really resonates with me and that's "doing reality checks in order to be lucid later." My mind works in very black and white terms where it knows about the gray areas but doesn't like thinking about them. Growing up, dreams always happen in the future or have happened, very black and white. Lucid dream training requires the person to accept the gray area where the dream could be now. I still struggle to wrap my brain around that because its not the "norm" to view dreams like that and I wasn't raised with that thought process. It's a big pitfall in my training but I've started to notice when I'm making that mistake ("oh, this can't be a dream, I'm just doing this for later") and crack down on myself so I can focus fully in. Currently, I use really no techniques and haven't for a while. I find that often a technique can complicate my practices and lead to less rest due to trying to do every little part correct. I think the only "technique" that has ever worked for me is thinking about my dream goal before I return to bed if I wake up in the middle of the night. I don't even consider that a technique really either. Plus, with so much twaddle out in the world, finding a useful technique can be hard (but luckily LDP has videos on good techniques if you like to use techniques)! Great video! Pardon if my comment is a bit gibberish or all over the place - I am very tired from work!
lately i've been really thinking about how lucidity and dreaming in general is something that's instant in a specific sense. of course, they are limited to when you choose to sleep, but that's only how you see it while you're awake. when you're dreaming, you don't normally question your place in time. to us, dreams might as well happen at any other time. at any given moment, you could unknowingly have slipped into a dream hours prior. i hope this makes sense.
I have a bit of a Problem. In Lucid dreaming you know that its not real, but what if its not Ment to be? Most of my dreams are like Stories, there not Supposed to be real life. How would i become lucid in my dreams?
i think whenever you are distracted reality checks are more important than ever .. am a right?( i am a beginner btw i think i had a ld for 3 seconds it was dark and i heard that most ld starts in dark places ) and a normal dream of being lucid dream.. i must be close
In my understanding being able to "lucid dream instantly" means that you can have a lucid dream at any moment you intend to have one: During waking and during all possible sleep states. But switching for example from waking directly into a lucid dream anytime you want (while standing or walking) is pretty much impossible and therefore the phrase "lucid dream instantly" is a paradox. I think what we should aim for is to "be lucid instantly" anytime when we intend to, like when something weird or a dreamsign is happening. This is when we should do a reality check and be open to the possibility of being in a dream. And on the other hand: RU-vid titles are just there for tickling the algorithm monster and baiting the clicks, so it doesn't make that much sense to analyze them too deeply. In that sense I would translate "Lucid dream instantly" as "Lucid dream with almost no effort" and of course this usually fails.
Lucid dream instantly. All you got to do is lather peanut butter all of over yourself and your grandma then you can shift to the Harry Potter bumper cars reality, and astral project with your dinosaur arua!!!
Can you help me? I really want to learn how to lucid dream but the problem is that I almost never dream at all! I had a dream a few days ago and it was the first I remembered in months. So before I can learn lucid dreaming I need to "learn" to dream ... but HOW?! I mean I believe that I do dream but I can't remember / recall any of my dreams 99% of the time. When I think back the las few years I think I remember about 3-4 dreams, maybe 1-2 more that I just forgot because they where completely nonsense. The last Dream I remember was, as I mentioned a few days ago and I wasn't involved, I saw my older son in a bar/club hanging out with his idol, they had fun, jammed on the guitar and later played a concert together. It was a very vivid but very short dream, I do remember 3-4 scenes but there wasn't really much more. I absolutely know why I had this dream, because my son is constantly listening to his favorite songs and is talking about this band so much and I also love them, we've been at the concert recently etc. so I know why I had this dream and I knew it was a dream and I immediately told my son about it ;-) Ok back to topic, you see, I'm pretty excited about a dream because I usually do not dream or do not remember anything when I wake up so how can I fix this and maybe even learn to lucid dream!? Interestingly, I had a "lucid dream" once In my life but it was pure coincidence, somehow during a dream I kind of became aware that I can "do" something and control my actions. However it ended very quickly when I did something I couldn't believe and basically kicked me out of my own dream because of disbelieve in what I just did. So it was not really lucid dreaming ...but the closest I can imagine.
You should start with day journaling & day recall. 30-45 minutes before going to sleep take time to write down 3-5 important moments from your day in as much detail as possible, then 5-10 minutes before going to sleep try to re-imagine those 3-5 moments in as much details as possible, as if you are re-experiencing the moment. Doing this teaches your mind to place greater importance on recall. I have some videos on my RU-vid channel explaining this in more depth.
I am lucid dreaming most of the night now a days(1-2month ). 3 years of not so consistent but yet consistent efforts are paying of. I thank my old self for not giving up. All I need to do now is be more critical in dreams. Can you give me any tip for that. I LOVE you. ❤
I have a question. I've been lucid dreaming my whole life, it's just something that happens randomly now and then for me. I'll notice something in a dream sometimes and think "hold on, that's not how reality works. This must be a dream". Will all that unintentional lucid dreaming experience have any bearing on learning to lucid dream on purpose compared to say, someone that has never had a lucid dream before? Will it make it any easier to learn? Or does it not matter? I haven't tried to do any lucid dreaming technique or anything yet.
Daniel- Today you will learn how to learn lucid dream INSTANTLY!!! For real!!. Me - ooh my we got a new hack!!! Let's goo. Daniel - BUT.... Me- here we go again
The way you asked and answered that question at 0:22 is odd to me. "When was the last time you had a dream where you knew you were in bed dreaming? (where you knew that it was tonight)" To me, that simply sounds like asking, "When was the last time you were lucid in a dream?" But you said the answer is "never". I am confused. My best guess as to what you mean (especially when adding the "tonight" phrase at the end) is that in this framing, "tonight" is being used as a future tense.... So, one can't say they are lucid in a moment that has not arrived. But unlike "tomorrow" which by definition never comes, I can see "tonight" being used as a present tense, as in: "now, this night that is being experienced right now." Am I being too pedantic, or missing your point? I mean, I understand that your thesis in this video is that it's all about one's state of mind in the present moment, and that focusing on the future (as in , "I WILL be lucid in a dream in the future") sets one up for never being present in a dream. Maybe I am just viewing the semantics in an overly obsessed and unhelpful way.
Keep your dream journal Keep your dream journal Keep your dream journal Keep your dream journal Keep your dream journal Keep your dream journal Keep your dream journal
Hey, i have a question. Is it possible to go in a lucid dream and make a friend in the dream an tell him that he should come in every dream i am dreaming, lucid or non lucid? Because if it is possible then i can go lucid in every of my dreams because if i see my "dreamfriend" i will immediately know that i am dreaming.
Yes, it may take more effort than you're probably willing to put in. Improving your reality check method would probably be more worth investing your time in.
@@ParanormalDreamCoach94 ye but i really dont how to WILD, bc i tried it a few times, i get the vibration but never get to SP. And its taking so long to get the vibration, like 5-10min, you know how to get it faster?
@@Muhammed.E23 Up to this point, have you ever successfully wilded ? It sounds like you need to work on the visualization aspect of WILD. I offer 1 on 1 coaching as well.
please answer this one question.. what does this mean?? last night when i found it was hard to sleep i visualized over 10 scenes .. and for some moments, i thought they were dreams then i just realized i theyr not real. withour noticing anything strange or reality test .. i think they were dream scenes but i wasnt fully in them yet. and before i get in one i realize its not real....
It's because the classification of a dream is very broad, and what some psychologists classify as dreams in NREM states are not useful for lucid dreaming, notr what the average person would consider a true dream. So basically it's a classification error on my opinion.
Unfortunately that's the kind of thing I'd only be able to help with during personal tuition, it will be a unique quirk to your psychology that would need a deeper exploration
Anytime I try WILD I can’t focus on my anchor. I always fall asleep because it’s hard to focus on it. Idk if it’s because I need a better anchor or if I’m doing something wrong. Can anyone help
WILD is the hardest ever lucid dreaming technique and to do it corrwctly and dont Fall asleep you need years of pracrice. I will recomend you to do easier technique like fild ssild or mild.
WILD isn't a technique, it's a category of lucid dream (a type). This is a common misconception. There are techniques to induce WILDs but WILD itself is just one of the two types of lucid dream.
@@LucidDreamPortal I tried focusing on my anchor more last night n I couldn’t fall asleep. I tried focusing on it a little less n It was starting to work but I would just wake up when I was almost asleep. I did see a bright flash of something that looked like moving white lightning n it took up my whole vision for a couple seconds but idk if that was anything.
