This is great scenes in TV history, everything about it is absolutely amazing, the cinematography, the acting, the soundtrack and the story is perfect. Nothing has come close to this scene.
I always liked how in this episode that Marty is like the little brother and Rust is the cool older brother. He tries on his leather jacket and tests out his eye mirror. Probably tried to do some pull-ups to but stopped after doing two lol

He said it irritates the skin. He’s going in under the cover of his past work in Narcos running with the drug biker gang known as Iron Crusaders. So he needs to look the part of a drug using hard s.o.b to fit his old undercover persona so he can get info out of the gang on their meth and lsd supplier (who is their main suspect in the case they’re working)
He literally asks what he's doing. Not going to judge you, the accent. To quote Rust himself it's Ink and (some chemical) makes the skin look contused. I.e makes it look like you've been shooting dope but poorly imo, he's going next to each vein, so maybe he just sucks or maybe he's a cop!!! (Or maybe the director though the needle looked better against the white part)
