Over the the last couple of months we at Eurotek have been made aware of the new Lucioli inner tubes that are produced in Brazil. Since our first encounter with this relatively new product we have been impressed by its reliability in Hard Enduro use. Infact, our own riders have been using the product in rear tyre applications without fault and we intend to continue further tests as we head to Romania for 2019 Romaniacs at the end of July. This will be reported on closely as the event unfolds.
(Update 5 of the Eurotek riders completed Romaniacs in Silver Class without issue. Two riders had issues One hit something really sharp slashing the tyre causing a puncture and the other had a tyre bead issue causing the tyre to come off the rim.)
At £125 each the Lucioli tube is not cheap but when you consider the cost of a tyre mousse at approx £100 plus which has a limited lifespan, more so when drilled for extra softness, there is potentially great savings to be made with the Lucioli tube.
Over 100 riders used this product at Sea to Sky in 2019 including myself
without issue.
