@@ki11atj49 You said most of his songs, I get a lot of his more commercial songs can be like that, but a majority of his songs are not, and some songs are just lyrical show-offs, like on the Bad Meets Evil album
Ems last 2 albums has more intelligent bars, lyrical complexity, and difficult flows than all his other albums combined. His first albums where more of a surprise slap in the face thats why he would use much edgier content with easier bars. His middle albums were made in his drug addicted depression years where he was also busy raising youg adults and trying to deal with a fame that left him alone in a box. And now he's actually sober and really working on his craft and it shows. He's sales are so crazy especially with 0 radio play and 0 advertising. He just dropped albums out of the blue. So I would disagree. His music still "SLAPS" in someways harder than ever b4
The part where the people are copying Joyner and Eminem represents where the rap game is at. Mumble rappers copy top artist just to get views or whatever. The whole song represents Joyner who is coming up and Eminem who has been in the game but still doesn’t get the proper Recognition he deserves. He’s warning Joyner what will happen if he makes it as big as he did
More importantly when Em says "aim back" and at the gunshot, when he starts snapping, all the clones are tossed up in the air until he's done rapping fast lyrically, because he blows the competition out of the water, so to speak.
Lool I never get when people say Eminem’s new music doesn’t slap as hard and I know she took back the comment but people say it when they haven’t even heard the majority of it. Kamikaze and music to be murdered by were very good and bar heavy and the features he’s been doing the last two years have slapped, it’s just you don’t hear it on the radio or mainstream as much because they promote all that mumble crap
Its crazy how many ppl don't appreciate the shit em does these days.. IMO he's better than he's ever been.. He's finally found himself, and is comfortable where he's at and he's killin it. Especially with his last 2 albums.. M2BMB is a masterpeice - And for ppl saying he doesn't have substance and is all over the place are ignorant. He's a genius. PERIOD.
yeah! Finally Eminem and Joyner. I'm a Stan since '99. I was 17 years old back then. I think cand agree that you should start reacting to his newest album (Music to be murdered by). And if you do, please start from the beginning, with track 1, 2, 3,.... People will tell you to react to their favourite songs. The order of the tracks is the result of a genius at work. Sorry for the long story, I am a little bit enthusiastic. Peace from Romania. Gen '82 baby...Stan since '98 :)
I'm curious , I wonder if this is the lady Em was talking about in "The Ringer" who sent him the Marshal Mather's LP and told him "If you sound like this again she'd love me" 😆
just discovered your channel and now im binge watching everything, besides the fact that we share the same music taste, you are just smart, adorable and i love your vibe ... love all the way from Egypt.
Finally someone who is so much talented and understand every bar reacted this track. Breaking down each n every bar was dope! Reaction was dope too btw 🥱 _wait, what!?
Great vid once again! Eminem is the GOAT. Glad to see you reacting to him. Gotta check out the rest of the Kamikaze album and Music to be Murdered by album.
Eminem has evolved. His music has changed a bit. He has become more technical in his schemes and cadences. He now does many double and even triple entendres. I like all of his music, but his more recent stuff is incredible considering his collaborations, beats, topics, and how long he has been in the game with that level of success.
When you mentioned his old stuff then named songs from Relapse and Recovery while I'm thinking about MMLP1 and SSLP 🤣 for some reason I still consider the ones you mentioned as new lol
Em songs are always about wordplay, metaphors, internal rhyming and double and triple entendres. Every now and then he releases some to show off his lyrical abilities like rap god and Godzilla to remind everyone he can spit super fast. To say his songs don’t have meanings is comical. “Darkness” was about as heavy and meaningful as you can get. Not many rappers would touch on that subject. Em has always been a boundary pusher. Em is the goat. Period. How many other rappers have been at the top of the game for three decades?
Check out Bad Meets Evil, Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" go hard, their album is amazing imo. Also the hooded figures were other rappers just copying anything and everything to stay relevant, but they couldn't copy the fast rap, so they got blown away, when Eminem stopped the fast rap they were able to go back to their copying ways. Pretty much him saying that you cant just imitate true talent, you either have it or you don't. Kamikaze was a dope album, I'd definitely suggest you listen to Chloraseptic Remix and then Catterpillar before you listen to any more Kamikaze though. As a bonus Eminem gives Hopsin a shout out in Fall, there's a video of Hopsin reacting to that btw, pretty wholesome and amazing imo.
The great thing about you is you think about the bars. Even if you may not speak on them, we can tell you're trying to catch the meaning and it's appreciated. This channel will be big. Keep grinding, and stay blessed. Much love 🙌🏻⚡🎈
You got to know hip hop culture to catch the sly shots these two absolute spitters are sliding in. Go listen to "Fall" and maybe watch the breakdown of everyone he (Em) destroyed on that track.
Eminem has always been a lyricist. Only the haters say he’s a lyricist now. Joyner is one of the only artists that can rap with Eminem. Girl nice reaction!
you should react to castle & arose together from revival. i feel like that album was looked over because the political messages but those songs are so deep and not political
Where did this “eminem isnt as good as he used to be” narrative originate? I feel like people reference it, without taking into consideration how much better he is at his craft NOW than he was 20 years ago. I dont know much, but eminem is much more skilled now than he was during his “prime”
Great reaction .. the people surround him and Joyner about new rapper copying their style and claiming they are the best not to mention the mumble rapper with even lyrics wrote for them bragging about the game .. I recommend to react to his song from the same album Fall , caterbiler , the ringer and last one the greates✌😉⚘⚘⚘
EMINEM HAS THE LUXURY OF CALLING OUT ANYONE BECAUSE HE HAS EARNED HIS RESPECT AND U NO ONE WANTS THAT SMOKE and u see when he started rapping fast and the “clones went in the air” it’s because they can’t keep up or do what they can
Umm I'm fairly new to rap and I get it he has hits from long ago that will always be a staple in rap but listening to his old and new you can see the maturity and how he is the g.o.a.t. ( It's wired cuz in any and every other type of music the best is always top selling.) It was the same person n rap till em became the top selling. But I think he is better now than ever hit rhyme and delivery and wordplay second to none the only.
Funny thing is I Know every song u just sd... Also I related to the I love the way you so much. Anyways GOD BLESS HUN AND SENDING LOVE AND RESPECT FROM THE WESTSIDE 702 & 775
I have been an Em fan for long and I love the Em we had, and we have now. 2 years in, the hate on Em never stops lol. People today are all ears to rappers like the one's we know are at the top rn, which is something I don't understand why, but respect their taste, at the same time, it's them who proclaim themselves to be rapheads, yet don't pay no heed or minimum to the OG's which is quite funny cause they claim the rappers, who are up today, I'm not taking names cause it's gonna be a direct hit to their fans, to be GOAT's. I'm sorry but it's actually impossible at this point to even par the lyrical ability to that of the OG's (Em, Nas, Snoop, 50, Dre, Pac, Big, DMX, etc) for the rap game today, cause this has become more like Pop Rap, which got a sound to it, but def not good in terms of who I grew up listening to. (I'm a GenZ myself for anyone who thinks I'm just an old guy or something)
This is thing with Em. When he went mainstream he crossed over as Slim Shady. Thats a double edged sword because all Slim Shady is is alter ego that allowed him to say whatever he wanted and didn't care what people thought. Marshall Mathers is him. With each album he matured to a certain extent. The Eminem Show was his more mature album. Marshall Mathers is a mix of Slim Shady and Eminem. The role out was brilliant because when you listen to The Eminem Show you start to realize your getting a mixture of Slim and Marshall and Eminem brought the more dramatic element. After he almost died he realized his influence in Hiphop was way bigger than he thought and he started adding the more personal songs that help his fans get through hard times. He switched up his style and added more ammo so he could reach a wider audience. His music took a hit largely in part because he decided to try to burry the Slim Shady style and he got attacked. Revival was actually a dope album, the hate came because the political Em came out and nobody cared. The message was good but the way he delivered it was the problem people had. Im not gonna say the album as a whole was great but the message was. He just delivered it in a way that was hard to listen to. The Kaepernick situation has been a huge influence on the world since it happened and the biggest goal was to get the high profiled white NFL players to speak up because they would have more influence than the blacks. Well Em is the biggest hiphop artist and you can't get higher than him especially in the white community. Well it got hate because its the total opposite of the way Em used to be. And thats where the other sharp part of the sword is. Em showed maturity, but that's not what people want from him so they bashed him until he went back. Most people just don't realize what it took for Slim to be Slim and drugs and alcohol was a huge factor. Hes sober now so he will never be the Slim of old. Thankfully the slightly watered down Shady is still 10× better than 90% of today's rappers lol
Fall, Not Alike, The Ringer, Greatest, Stepping Stone (album Kamikaze) Godzilla, Yah Yah, Unaccommodating, Marsh, I Will, Leaving Heaven, You Gon Learn' (from new album Music To Be Murdered By, you've already reacted to song Darkness) But I advice to react to the old songs firstly because you will see how his music changing for years
No hate at all but you have to listen to his newest album because it’s all like his old stuff and every song is fire please do a whole album review you won’t regret it💯👍🏼
you should go through his last 2 albums ... they are masterpieces ... Kamikaze after the Revival hate, he went back at them ... it's like a diss album And Music To Be Murdered By is just a instant classic ... I can't skip a single song ... they are all great ( it's the best selling rap album of 2020 If you do ... you need to do lyrics music video and actual music video when there is one ... but the lyrics video should help with understanding him ... becaus that's Em ... all about words ... rhyme schemes, bars, double. triple, quadruple entendre
Awesome song from kamikaze the album is insane & love how you react to the song of how crazy Eminem does his verse you should definitely react to Godzilla from the MTBMB album Eminem a freaking legend #Goat
