I'm a white male X tv extra .just watched this after coming back from signing on for my benefits money.because I can't get no TV work .good advert I liked it ..
Good ad- like the way the actor keeps focus on how most young people carry themselves walking independently. Ads in a nice touch with the recycle start. Shows someone doing his own thing in a self-kind way
LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS AD! Yes Lucozade! 🙌🏾 more like this please! Come on effortless hula hooping! And yesss to the beautiful Queens sat at the table 💖👑✨
@@hypecacw ...the fact that you can't understand, only exposes your stupidity.......It's extremely unrealistic, pretentious and feels very forced. But don't worry its easily overlooked by the simple minded.
I agree with Sariya on my first few viewings I could not have cared less what colour the young man with the hula hoop was but I can tell you this that he made an old white man happy to belong to a nation of such a talented generation that can make such an advert and make me laugh.
@@forgotmyusername5093 ....it isn't "racism" to be aware of and comment on facts. Stop labelling people hurtful name's just because they're different to you. Also very narcissistic of you to assume strangers comments are only there for your enjoyment? You seem to have the same lack of self awareness as the advert.👍
@@PoodlesruleOK ....bit narcissistic to prise an advert you was involved in isn't it? You clearly have the same lack of self awareness as the submissive morons that made the cringeworthy advert.👍
'Lyrical GANGSTA' another rap song with violent connotations. They've changed it to DANCER . . . . I think. Yet another box ticking advertisement. It's sad
Best advert on telly.🥰 I read some of the other comments and couldn't care less who's in it, what colour are the people or the dog.🤔 The guy who's doing the hula hoop is great. I could never do hula. It's a fun ad.🤪🎉 Why are people so critical about it? 🤔 I came onto the site to see it 1) in full and 2) I can see it whenever. Brilliant!👍💕
We don't have this drink in Belgium but I suspect it is not a healthy slimming drink. One can safely drink it "all the time" only when continually hula hooping yes?
Lucozade has been considered a health drink for decades due to glucose energy. It's now described as isotonic and the sugar free ones are plant sterol based sweetened.
Black main character, black man at window, black woman sat at cafe, black neighbour when he finally get home......And even the doggy was black? Lol.....there is defentley no subliminal messages in this advert. Yo yo yo me goin to buy a bottle now!😂
Omg are people serious? I honestly didn’t even notice there wasn’t any white people in the ad until it was pointed out in the comments. I don’t think there’s an agenda. It would be cool if a little granny started vibing out too, but the dog bit is cute. I like this song, it’s so catchy, I had to RU-vid it.
Eh, there is an agenda, read their own comments in response to people. They purposely chose to exclude any white people in an filmed in the uk on the basis of "diversity"
@Hilly Howley @Maconnaith your seriously going to get butt hurt about that? Who cares..Up until the mid 2000s the media excluded people of colour completely and had white actors portraying different ethnic groups.
@@elliel3700 and that was racist to exclude all black people etc. Just as it is racist to purposely e crude a race of people here in order to flig a diabetes forming acidic bottle of poison. So what you are saying is either that you are oj with racism as long as it is against white people or that two wrongs make a "who cares"
@@Maconnaith I’m so not okay with any form of racial abuse. It’s 2021 and I feel like we should be mature enough to be able to express ourselves and celebrate all cultures. The British Isles is an extremely diverse place now and I think people are overreacting regarding the advert. It’s literally a few shots following a young lad enjoying a drink with a bit of a groove. The extras are not meant to be noticeable just there for the reaction. I can’t speak for the people that work for this company but you’re creating an issue that that doesn’t exist..
@@elliel3700 ahh the "it's the current year" argument arrives! If you are not racist then you should be against this ad which purpose chose to exclude people on the basis of their race. If "diverse" means "non-white" to you, If excluding people on the basis of their skin colour isn't an issue for you then I don't know what to tell you
I think the issue is that there's literally no white people in a British ad. It shows up a major cultural change and perpetuates the growing feeling that the media's interpretation of 'diverse' doesn't include white people. I personally wouldn't find it racist if Chinese (or insert any nation) people were miffed at ads where huge amounts of white (or insert any race) people had moved into Beijing and they made ads only featuring white people. I think they'd have a valid argument over lost culture. No one gets annoyed at seeing minorities in ads, but they do get annoyed at minorities being painted falsely as some sort of majority and/or social narratives being shoved down our throats. But, ya know, easier to call everyone racists.
@@thesaint8400 Well there are several white people in the advert, in fact it's around a 50/50 split between them and BAME individuals. A quick Google search shows that Croydon was 50% BAME in 2017 according to the local council. The black people are just in the foreground, which you may not like, but this still occurs in a minority of adverts. And you might say it's technically a UK-wide advert, but none of the actors speak so there's nothing stopping them from distributing this advert globally.
@@facemcshooty3539 you are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts. 8 people feature in the ad. 7 are black or Asian, 1 is white and his he is the only one to feature in the ad without a head.
@@kynamatthewson7702 it was a thing in the 60's and 70's for children. Much better ways to get exercise. A brisk 30m walk will do you 10 times more good 🙂
