On Wednesday the 11th of September 2019 I traveled on Lufthansa's Wednesday only A340-300 service from Frankfurt (FRA) - Dublin (DUB), it is very rare to see an aircraft of this size on such a short haul route so I made sure to experience it while I had the chance, Lufthansa will cease weekly A340 operations to Dublin after October 30th 2019.
The aircraft I traveled on was an A340-300 (D-AIFC) which is 18.8 years old and still looks like new given it's age.
It was my first time ever flying on a quad jet so it was certainly a very pleasant experience and my first time flying with Lufthansa.
