Thank you for the video. I appreciate you showing how to take apart the housing and studs and the reinstall onto the new disk rotor. Was super confused on how I was gonna do this with my 73' ford Dana 60. Keep up the awesome tutorials. 😎🤘
No kidding! I was too when i did it the first time! there were a couple videos out there but i tried to cover missing parts to those... cheers man! I love your crew cab!! best of the old school right there.
Solid video, glad to know it's an easy install. Question though, aren't the hub bearings lubricated by the diff fluid? If so, isn't packing them a touch redundant?
I just have a habit of always packing bearings no matter what... never had a situation come up where more lube isnt a good thing, if you know what im saying ;D
@@Legacy4x4andOffRoadYT i totally get it man. Looking through their website, they even recommend it to. Seems like overkill to me, but its definately not somewhere you can be TOO cautious 🤘🤘
Brilliant video, thanks from Australia. I need to do this job to my Aussie built Dodge AT4 truck. Has a Dana 60. Hopefully LugNuts can ship a kit over to Australia for me. Thanks again 👍🏼
Glad it helped, you would think they could... many other places similar kits, this one was just the right price for me to get it... thanks for watching ! cheers from USA
Great video man, helped me a lot. Currently rebuilding a 1975 Dodge power wagon and picked up a Dana 60 rear end and Dana 44HD for the front. Thanks a lot for the video, was having a lot of trouble with the drum brakes, still tryna learn, only 19
@@Legacy4x4andOffRoadYT having a lot of trouble getting the wheel studs out on mine currently. So that’s my next hurtle, but keep up the content man! Really informative and helpful, not a lot of people show every step
Almost plug & play - something that didn't require fabrication is an unusual occurrence on your builds - only requiring just a couple of washers for spacers speaks well for Lugnut's kit! Damn - they don't make one for my Chrysler 8.25 ///;-(
I really liked their kit! especially since I couldn’t date my axle exactly so if it only takes two washers to be perfect I’ll take that any day of the week! Lol
@@Legacy4x4andOffRoadYT a Welded Diff with V8 ??!! Just driving this thing to the trail may be a detriment to your axles. But I'm certain you know to baby this beast on the street. A switchable locker is my BEST friend for about 90sec. Maybe you can sell your first borne
