The missionbased structure is what made the game so good and it just fitted so well to the game they can't just change that

I feel the same way. Dark moon was not only the first Nintendo game I’ve ever played but also the fist video game in general I’ve ever played I enjoyed the strategy’s in each mission and Luigi’s mansion 3 does not give the same vibe as dark moon. I was told the original was better but after some gameplay through it I was bored in just 5 minutes

@@Jayden-likes-bacon lol, the first game is the best. It actually is a mansion, not just small areas with loading screens. You have a much clearer and better storyline than in 2 and oh yeah, not a lack of checkpoints like 2 does. Dark Moon is awful, but I guess if it's your first game you actually believe it's the best when it's not.

@@sandiego2380 alright I just don’t understand the hate on dark moon. If anything the original is garbage since all you do is collect money and catch ghost. Meanwhile dark moon gives you challenges for some ghosts like the ghosts with frying pans or the chain ghosts in the ice level. There is also the strategy’s in the game to make progress. I’m not defending this game with my life or anything. I do agree there are a few flaws with it but every game has at least one flaw. Just watch Nathaniel bandy on RU-vid and watch his trigger videos. Then you’ll see

@@sandiego2380 Also the locations are separate smaller mansions instead of the same mansion with the same rooms everywhere. Not to mention you can’t just say the story is bad when there both the same story just dark moon has a purpose for every mansion and saving Mario
