Luis Sera Has a main and Mayhem mode theme song or soundtrack for the mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake (2023) #residentevil4 #mercenaries #re4remake
Luis theme is a badass spanish banger. It's almost like the devs were biased for Luis in the RE4make he got the biggest upgrade, from his character writing with tragic childhood, into working on Umbrella Nemesis project, into being the lead scientist in los iluminados responsible for creating El Gigante, Regenerators, U3, Verdugo & Novistadors. To his great voice acting, and his design being a new RE thirst trap with the scars, the leather jacket that looks better than Leon's jacket for alot of people, now his theme! He went from a forgotten character into in important morally grey wildcard with strong plot relevance, they were cooking with Luis really well.
@Jack Jax This is exactly why I think Luis survival twist adds more interesting scenarios after they retconned his story, imagine where he survives and Jill tries to kill him after finding out he's involved in creating her 1st nightmare, Leon would stop her.
@@chunkymilk In the files says his mom died while giving birth so his grandpa raised him, one of the photos you see at the ending credits shows 5yo Luis and his grandpa. Kid Luis got traumatized after watching his only family member his grandp die in the flames due to the plaga infection. So he studied and became prodigy biologist then joined Umbrella to learn more about the parasites to find the cure to what killed his grandpa, helped create Nemesis and left them after realizing their bad intentions. Then joined Los illominados to make the cure but his research resulted creating Regenerators, El Gigante, U-3 & Novistadors. But he did succeed to make the parasite removal machine that helped Leon/Ashley at the end. That's why he said "I led a shitty life".
Considering there's a guitar in Luis' childhood home i assume he can play a guitar, and Luis voice actor revealed he likes that opening song in Desperado. Imagine Luis DLC intro starts with Luis playing a guitar and singing, then he kisses the guitar and breaks it on ganados head! 😳 Absolute cinematic kino.
Except for one tiny detail... Carlos is just straight South American, i don't know a single Spaniard wich its last name is Oliveira, that is either a Portugese or a Brazilian thing
I love how the character with the least amount of combat experience and skill has the most badass theme. Like yeah he's a competent shooter but his CQC capabilities are very crude and basic, which makes sense considering a he's a scientist rather than specially trained soldier or agent like the others.
I’m very glad that they not only gave him a complete rework of his character, but made him playable in Mercenaries and gave him a badass theme like this. Great work, Capcom.
Luís Serra, nunca pensé lo increíble que sería tenerlo en Mercenarios. Pero respeto a Capcom por esa sabia decisión, esta colamos compañía sí que sabe hacer Remakes. I wrote the comment en Español, must to theme.
Man the theme is the absolute best in probably the entire gaming history (save for some Red Dead Redemption 1&2 tracks, and obviously Doom Eternal) but I just can’t get myself to play as Luis. Out of all characters in all video games I’ve played he’s the one I can’t bear to watch getting hurt. Well, him and the characters in TLOU1&2. He’s the only one I haven’t gotten S+ on any stage due to being too gentle and focusing on avoiding getting him hurt at the cost of combo counters. My precious man 🥺❤️
I love how they gave each character a different theme and that’s something I hope they carry over to re5 remake imagine all the potential themes with how much characters there are too choose from
He is super easy to use what are you on, he is literally invincible to his dynamite, meaning that you could place it then pop it with the red9 until your mayhem ends
@@ItsQuackie I think compared to Leon or Hunk he's really hard to play, but maybe I'm playing him wrong. I don't have a single S rank with Luis, whereas I got S+ on Village and Castle with Leon, and S++ on Island with Hunk
@@meuhtalgear Luis is one of the easiest for me, his entire strategy is to just stagger and hit with a melee, save your mayhem till a miniboss comes and just keep standing still and keep popping dynamites.
Great video! Although the Resident Evil 4 remake is out, I'm still playing a lot of the original on mobile. In fact, on my latest episode of my RE4 series, I just passed through the cabin with Louis and both paths. It was intense! Keep up the great work!
He is definitely the strongest after you master him, he has no disadvantages whatsoever and his dynamite can one shot any enemy, he is the best right next to hunk.
hasta que alguien sube este track con mas volumen, incluso ni en el mismo juego se puede apreciar los soundtracks del mercenarios porque no se oyen fuerte
Just realized if you finish the mercenaries with Luis in s++ all scenarios, during the main story when he appears he will fight way better the ganados 😮
