In Q3 Clippers had 11 FTA vs Mavericks 0 FTA. That was particularly egregious. Q3 alone was a -5 for the Mavs and erased the Mavs lead. Thankfully we had some clutch performances in Q4.

Coach Lue mentally played sly by not saying until the last minute if Kawhi would play in the first game and the Mavs 70% expected him to play, then again, before the second game he didn't say anything specific about Kawhi and 90% of the media expected him to not playing because it seemed logical not to play when they could easily beat the Mavs without Kawhi and T. Lue did the exact opposite based on everyone's expectations. Mental warfare, no kidding...But God favored the Mavs this time and foiled LAC's plans. Luka is hurting the team. In game 2 of the play off, he played longer than anyone. He shot more than anyone. 11-26 FG and 5-14 3s. This is not a good percentage. They play better when he is not in the game. Oh yeah, he can not make a FT. He's been in the league 9 years and with the Mavs for 6. With him in the game they play that isolation game. Boring.
The Mavericks are in the spot they are right now because of Luka. Ofc Kyrie is playing amazing but before he came, Luka was carrying the team, he’s their star playing, averaging the most in the NBA rn, and averaging practically a triple double. He isn’t hurting the team he’s helping them.
