Saying that this is the playoffs and dudes will make him play D and pay attention to details is not new and he’s faced these Clippers 3 times in 5 years. Yes, the 3P% is basically stagnant between 35.5% and 36.7% for the last 20 years. But the volume has gone up basically every year. From 15.8 3PA in 2003/4 to 35.1 3PA this season. So basically 20 3PA more per game... thats crazy. And 3 point shots play a huge role in the PO, specially this season. Right now in this PO's teams who made 14 or more 3's in a game are 19-0... So yeah, make enough 3's and you are pretty much save to win the game, no matter what the opponent does.
