People in the Balkans and especially Serbs endured repression for centuries, by Ottomans, Germans, Austro-Hungarians. Hence, we relate more to people of color and behave in that manner. I like to say that we’re only white on the outside! Luka and Jokic are prime examples for US audiences (Novak the goat Djokovic same for the tennis audience)
