I hope he didn't permanently damage his voice. I come from a working class family (I work in a fish plant and drive tractor trailers) And I wouldn't have minded paying for those tickets. Even though he was having vocal issues he sang better than what most new artists do live anyway. I also play guitar and write songs and this man's been a big inspiration to me since I first heard him. Goes to show once down home country always down home country. Every time I listen to stories about Luke I’m always amazed by the things he does for his fans. He brought tears to my eyes when he called those two young boys to the stage and gave them their hard earned money back. He is such an amazing person. Then to put on the show Saturday night not feeling the greatest but refunded the guest and that came out of his pocket not the venues he amazes me every time with a big WOW love you Luke you have a big heart. It's extra amazing in this day and age when so many artists in all genres have resorted to backing tracks and lip syncing. At least there are some artists that still care that LIVE music is really still live. I love music more than anything, specifically live music, and I don't appreciate what so many artists have done to it in the last few years. Luke's a real one.

Much respect for Luke Combs! I was at a HUGE country stars concert and he showed up to work drunk, and I felt horrible for the folks who paid to see him. Also, another concert where a trio of ladies bashed conservatives several times during the concert. Don't they know most country fans love America? Both acts should have refunded their tickets in my opinion.

I was there. Nobody was expecting it, especially because the opening acts were there and were great. But you could tell something was off when he was singing. He was beat red and was sweating profusely during the show, and his voice went out one or two times while singing. But overall his show was great. He drank hot tea while performing, he had his guitar guy come out and sing a song, and there were lots of opportunities for the crowd to sing chorus lines. Ultimately, I think even if he was at 60-70%, it was still better than some other acts I've seen. He's that good. But I can confirm that this week, on my ticketmaster account that he did refund our tickets. It really was an unexpected but amazing moment. I've never seen that, and I don't think I'll see it again.

Luke is built different. Special.

I bought a ticket to see a star baseball player who did not play due to injury. It sucks, but that is a risk I took when buying a ticket so I cannot expect a refund. It is cool that the audience would not have cared either way, but Luke was still just being a class act to his fans.

I'm not even a fan of his, or country music, but he gets so much respect for every bit of this.
