The bank robbery with the hot dog is right out of Dirty Harry. 😅 New York City police weren't fans of the 357 Magnum, but at the time, nearly every State Police agency AND the FBI gave their officers and agents Magnum revolvers. And at the time, New York service pistols had bullets that didn't exactly work the best. The 38 bullets didn't expand and produced narrow wounds that didn't incapacitate criminals. (I know WAY too much about guns. )
On U not thinmking this reached the highs of issue 2... The issue 3 cover in Central Park is spectacular though.... I want to say it is one of the best covers I have ever seen....
@@HeroicNerd I thought they went in the park in the middle, but maybe not... never the less it is an real masterpiece, and I think it stands out because there are so few police comic books. The more of these stories you do, the more i am so surprised this company didn't last longer..... Maybe once they Marvelized their stories (in every issue) the numbers dropped off.
I don't know nothing about guns, but I was wondering if the characters had the right guns in the stories. When they mention Magnum, I thought of Dirty Harry. His gun has a longer barrel. So, I guess they are talking of a Colt Python .357 Magnum, those look like the ones in their hands....
Here’s an idea have you watched an old wcw event called capital combat rise of robocop it’s a wrestling show . And yes robocop does show up to save a wrestler called sting from his arc enemy ric flair it might be fun for you to watch that then read a wcw comic and robocop comic back to back and talk about what a shame marvel never did a team up comic
