You are the first one that makes the mono station sounds verry good, i have the Novation Circuit and i'm verry happy with it, and want to buy the mono station as wel but after seeing a lot of RU-vid video's i doubt verry much because from the most videos i dont like the sound of it. My question is, did you have make all these sound's with the mono station itself or loaded it in from another device? (Sorry for my bad English)
Enjoyed this. I have been considering selling my BS2 in favor of one of these. It’ll save space and the sequencer seems a bit more useful. But I’m curious if I’ll miss the form factor of the BS2, and if I’m giving up anything in terms of sound design.
I have both the Bass Station 2 and Mono Station. I’d say that if you’re more of a player than keep the Bass Station but if you’re more of a sequencer with a more electronic dance music head on your shoulders then go Mono Station. The way the Mono Station bounces when it’s sequences basses is a delight. It really makes you want to dance. I used to take it out live and it always stole the show.
Luke Neptune wish I had space for both. Unfortunately I’ll have to make a decision at some point. I am a keys player but I don’t necessarily need the keyboard on the BS2 as I typically use a controller for that. Anyway thanks fir the perspective. Keep up the good work ;)
Good job and playing. but after a while when I tried real synth this just sounds thin and plasticky I lost interest in mine and just use at sequencer which is amazing.
Hi Kristjan, I feel the same. I just bought it but haven’t unboxed it and I think I’ll send it back but then I was thinking of keeping it as a sequencer. My other idea was to swap for the Arturia Keystep Pro. Any thoughts? Cheers!
