Luke, Mike Tyson on the pads recently as of 3 weeks ago looks like he has actually lost some power and you can tell that these flurries are exhausting for him (And these are edited to showcase him at his best). He might be able to hurt Jake but he won't be able to knock him out. At 58, Mike, who was never known for his cardio, needs to knock him out to win. If mike was 10 years younger, absolutely.

As with his last fight, Tyson will be on steroids, but so will Jake Paul. Tyson will still have nothing to offer. Another black eye for combat sports. This should not even be allowed.

If this kind of "fight" had been made by the UFC or in association with them, the mma media's reaction (MK, Ariel, etc) will be different. Anyone with a grandfather who used to be a fighter must check on him before it's too late or the next time they see him will be in a ring across from Jake Paul.

Getting it on Netflix, you have to admire, it could be a pivotal point regarding sports streaming in the future, Netflix has a massive audience, much bigger than any PPV or any large sports broadcaster like Espn, Sky, Dazn etc combined.

Actually, I can see Tyson winning a 6 round bout, with Tyson Ko'ing Paul in 3. Any longer than six rounds, Tyson loses imo.

Short bursts of ferocity by Tyson on social media left him almost bedridden for a week he told Rogan, and as a 51 year old starting powerlifting I can empathise. Sustained energetic cardio is extremely hard at Tyson's age and he'll gas out and slow down relatiely quickly. Paul is not as good a fighter as Tyson but he's younger, bigger and at his age stronger.

Dude seriously, I am 51 and work out my hiney off. But I am a pale comparison to what I was at 25. I have planta faciiitis, I have degenerative arthritis in my C4 & C5 vertebrate, a hemorrhaged disc, and a bad right knee time to time all due to a lifetime of use and wear and tear, this happens with age regardless of how you take care of yourself. All these things flare up unexpectedly. This is a complete joke How could a 28 year old person even legitimately think this is ok? He actually thinks this would be a legit victory over a senior citizen? And Tyson is even more crazy to tarnish his already blemished record.

Jake has NEVER been hit by someone with the power of mike. Never. if he catches one of those hook to the body then upper cuts that Mike was famous for he is going to go right to sleep.

It depends how good Mike still is. I noticed that at the end of his carreer when he was still very young, he had deteriorated a great deal to the point where everyone seemed to be beating him. He seemed to have lost his punch resistance and "Iron Mike" had lost the "Iron" somewhere. I don't see how being 58 is problem because 58 isn't old. In fact I know people who are 60 and will tell you they've never been fitter and stronger.

Before I watch this, the why is super simple, this will get tons of new casual eyeballs, and old heads who used to be boxing fans back in the day.

Here is a BREAKDOWN of Luke Thomas' blunders: 3:24 Luke says: "even at 48 years old" Mike is going to be 58 years old. Even if he were to back peddle and say "I meant to say even at 48 Mike WOULD'VE been a challenger" at that age. Mike was sitting on the couch eating cheeseburgers, and had no interest in fighting at 48. So you can't compare him at 48 due to the butterfly effect. But I KNOW Luke flat out messed up and said 48 instead of 58. Next blunder: 3:58 Luke says Anderson was in his 50"s when he fought Jake. THAT"S not true, Anderson was in his late 40"s when he fought Jake. And there you have it folks, until then enjoy the blunders.

It feels unlikely that Nflix would get much more involved in the fight biz beyond obvious crowd-pleasers like this. If the event proceeds, Nflix makes big bank but basically takes the money and runs, going on to get involved with boxing and mma only on a limited basis. I might be too jaundiced, tho. My take on risk perception at the upper levels of corps like Netflix is that they're in the same paper economy problem as everyone else. Getting into the boxing biz is too risky and takes too much effort compared to other, easier investments or the types of relatively risky, show biz projects that they already spend on.
