I put together the band ' Manhattan Love Bistro' in 2003 with some of the best Sydney players to explore standards, blues and other interesting tunes ( pop, funk) in new ways. All the players were so talented and experienced I knew each would bring a wealth of creativity and musicality to the table. And they did. We had a residency in Balmain NSW at a place called the Monkey Bar and from there went on to record an album in 2004 with the ABC AUSTRALIA.
