From this Moment on... ... a Minute 's got 45 seconds. But do not worry, everything you give, they pay back twice. But please do not come to the idea to slow down this channel. I enjoy this pretty much.

Kyle. You've done it again! That horn sounds great. I play a small bore. I was always afraid of trying to play jazz/swing until I saw your channel. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! That's great to hear. Jazz can get overcomplicated too early and scare people off, best thing to do is to listen, play and have fun. Theory comes later!

Great as usual. Ready to get my trombone out and give it a try. I play a Bach 36B which, I think, is categorized as a small bore. Love playing it as it is very responsive.

Well played Kyle and just the right key for me. Re trombones I play on a Yamaha medium large bore, when I started playing over 60 years ago my trombone was a small bore which were referred to as pea shooters, Trombones have certainly come a long way since then.

Large bore-There are some great chances to add a lip trill on the middle C and D.

Having a chuckle again Kyle. After playing through with you, before your comments (outro) played, I was thinking I would like to play it again at a FASTER speed. Just then you suggested playing it at a slower speed. :) I play Bach trombones ~ My model 12 is a .500 bore, 42B is .547, and 50B bass trombone is .562. I also play a Bach 37 trumpet, and an Amati tuba. In all cases using different mouthpieces depending on the type of group I am playing with, or type of music being played. Always a pleasure when I see one of your videos come up.

Trumpet to tuba! That's quite a mouthpiece change. Often when I'm editing the video I play it back at double speed to save time and often I think it sounds better faster. I like it, great way to keep it challenging.

Hi Kyle, I‘ve been following your site for some time. As I think that I‘m not quite intermediate yet I really appreciate the site and I find it quite helpful. At the moment I am learning and practicing alternate positions. I play an old German large bore trombone by the make of Julius Heinrich Zimmermann. He sold/manufactured musical instruments in St. Petersburg, Russia before the Russian Revolution and he equipped the Tsar‘s military orchestras with brass instruments. I guess my Trombone is more than 90 years old and I had it renovated after I had got it. If I had known how much that cost … But people spend money on their hobbies. Oh, by the way, Sankt Petersburg Tubas have been available in Germany for a few years. They are from Russia and it is said they are made in one of the former Zimmermann factories. Thanks for your interesting help. Konnie

That's really cool, so much history in one trombone! Good luck with the practice and check out my Amazing Grace video, it's great for practicing alternate positions.

Edwards T-350 (like the one in the video from your friend) as large bore and Rath R100/King 2b liberty from 1939 as small bore instruments here ;) Each has its own character and field of use....so as often: it depends ;) Like your stuff! keep goin¨!
