man do I get a lot of compliments on my colormark ! Everyone loves it. It takes what ever you can dish out ! if I have to take my watch off every time I do something that might damage it ,I don't want or need it !! Iam now looking at the chronograph version maybe for Christmas. At first I some issues about the non screwdown crown but I soon got over it .I was just used to all my dive watches having that feature, but I have read countless good remarks about the double gasket system Luminox uses. I was educated to the fact that it is not the screw down feature that makes a watch waterprove , but rather the gaskets. I have worn my diving numerous times and have had no problems at all. GREAT WATCH !!!
I bought a lumi for myself and my daughter just before Christmas from a local AUTHORIZED Luminox dealer. Both are the colormark model. Over the last month or so I have read countless negative reviews . All I can figure is that they bought them on line and they must be fakes. They talk about only paying 150 or 200 for them. Luminox does not let any authorized dealer sell for less than 300 ! Ive had mine for 6 months and it has gained less than 2 seconds. I wear it swimming and in the shower constantly without any trouble. I couldn't be happier with it. all I can say is you get what you pay for. I may have paid retail but I got the real deal ! And if I should have a problem Im not going to deal with the repair center. I will let the store I bought it from handle it , or give me my money back ! On line doesn't always get you the better deal !

Great watch! I have the orange. I also have a 8800 series that's red & green. I got some of the Velcro bands for them. They are great watches & I love to see the time in pitch black without having to find a button.
Just a suggestion, use a black light or UV flashlight to show the tritium. It over states how bright they are, but it gives the audience a good idea of how They look. Thanks for the vid! The vid!
love the watch, the only thing i dont like is the "navy seal" hype that comes with it... ironically every military operator i have ever seen (in pics and vids, i am not a solider) uses g-shock or timex ironman lol... never once seen a solider with this type of watch.
Good video buddy! Many people bash the mineral crystal face which is a sub standard material compared to sapphire crystal face. However the price point of a sapphire crystal watch vs a mineral crystal face watch is fairly significant. Luminox makes watches with sapphire crystal however the price point is higher. It would be nice if people would think a little before making comments. Irrelevant and pointless comments should be removed in a perfect world but that isn't the case. If you don't have anything of substance that could help others please refrain from such nonsense. Just my 2 cents...but I am just one regular guy so what do I know.
Ryan Dacus They use mineral glass because it's more shatter resistant than sapphire glass. Ironically sapphire glass watches usually have a anti reflective coating which scratches easily leaving an appearance of a scratch in the glass.
Nice video but please get your terminology correct the dial is not what screws and adjust the time that would be called the crown. The peace that you are saying is metal and adjust the time movement is not called a dial it is the crown. The bezel is on the outside of the dial and is what has the unidirectional movement for diving as the dial is what is under the crystal and contains the hour markers, nice effort in the video otherwise.
You know I've been looking for a good Tritium watch for a while , but every time I go to buy one I talk myself out of the purchase .The cost of about a grand is not justified by the Tritium especially in a cheap feeling plastic case .Mind you I've seen good competitive units with other names with Titanium cases , but again A good G-shock with a back-light will out shine these no problem . They overpriced themselves on purpose not substance , The big green numbers look a bit kiddish also , on this particular model . .
millwrightman99 the thing is analog military watches have far more legibility at a glance than a g-shock, even more so at night. fuck pressing a button to check the time and fuck the auto light feature that will go off on accident while active.
The bezel on mine has just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttle bit of play in it. Does anyone elses? Bro when you're reviewing the watch you've got to experience it for people. Pull the crown out and show us. Twist the bezel so we can see its characteristics. Ya know?
