Hello, I have two suggestions for the Lumix Lab if realistically possible.. -Add the ability to add other effects like Glow & Halation -Give us some quick cut/edit timeline to put clips together and export them without losing quality.

@LUMIX USA Thanks a bunch for answering my question! As feedback to the engineers, I would LOVE it if you added a way to bring back the way "touch to focus" in MF mode worked on the GH5. In the past you could just move the focusing box with your finger and when you lifted your finger, it would focus on that point. If you could add a menu option to bring back this ability, I would forever be in your debt. I understand why some people don't like this, but for me it was just my favorite way of manually focusing. Thanks!

@@GrenlandUnderVann yeah.. I can see that.. I like the CFExpress and a few other things.. but I would like to play with the Realtime LUTs of s5ii & g9ii. Especially the LUMIX Labs app.. would be cool to make new LUTS on the fly..

Please add MP4 Lite for the s5 II (x) too. It'd be very handy in a lot of shooting situations where relatively small file sizes are more important than a slight decrease in quality / resolution.

at work we're encoding daily gh5 shoots, having mp4 lite on the s5ii and x [i own both personally] would be a great reason to upgrade the work setup. i'm sure we'll do it at some point regardless but it would be a huge time and energy saver. proxies would have worked but atm not an option because we only shoot open gate. i hope it can be done and knowing panasonic i have high hopes.

@@plusyoutube Yup, I hope too. I'd switch to shooting multi-hour videos (e.g., Finnish Summer nights) with the 5S II if it supported a relatively good-quality but (also relatively) low-bitrate H.265 video stream. Even at 50 Mbps the Lumix would surely produce way-way better & cleaner (no oversharpening, no over-contrasty etc.) video than the iPhone 14 Pro Max I currently use for this (sunny Summer "nights") purpose.

What I would want to see on all current models is a quick and uniform access to the camera's 'control panel' display mode. I am thinking of a swipe in via the touch screen that would swap the current monitor's display mode to the 'control panel' mode. A half press of the shutter button would then return the previous mode. The large and tidy presentation of the 'control panel' makes handling so much easier without the need to press any buttons. Perhaps this could be considered and implemented in a future firmware upgrade. Thank you.

I like the S9 but there is no good lens for it in the current L-mount line-up. A wide f2.8 pancake lens is badly needed (Nikon and Canon have them, they exist). In a pub, or some other poorly lit social occasion, I could see myself using an S9 and a bright pancake instead of a phone.

Hope they come out with the 18-40 soon and it has at least comparable image quality to the also-inexpensive 20-60. An S9 + 18-40 combo (assuming an acceptable price point and preferably the removal of the recording time restrictions) would really make me consider purchasing the combo.

100%. This camera is made for those type of occasions where you want better image quality than a phone but donʻt want to bring a full on camera kit. Great concept but no good lens options!

And PLEASE do remove the video recording time limits even if you do it optionally (via the menu). It's by far the biggest dealbreaker IMHO for a lot of us powwer users wanting something more compact but still FF.

Could you please add the touch to focus function back into the cameras. It was a great function and a real time saver. Having to push the AF onscreen button after choosing the focus area seems pointless especially when this wasn't necessary on the GH5/4 . Thanks :)
