Sony does not suffer from any DR issues. Stabilization has its pros, like no warping corners on ultra wide under 20mm for Sony as well. The a7rv with the newest IBIS & IS improvements is better than panaosnics FF stabilization.
It looks super clean! I’ve been impressed with the new Lumix s5ii just from everyone’s footage. I still use the Canon R7 for now but if I do switch it’ll be to the Lumix system for sure.
You can change the exposure to be +1 stop or more, while using auto iso. Hit the + or - button on the top right of the camera, near the WB and ISO buttons. As long as its consistently underexposed in standard mode, you should be happy with customizing the extent of over-exposing to get it super clean.
This definitely makes sense given what you said about the global adjustment layer. Might as well do it in camera on whats being captured, and reap the rewards of more light.
@@noahusescameras Thanks for the info! Honestly I think you should make a full video on exactly your specific settings for this video. And call it Get The Best Colors Out Of The Panasonic S5ii (Free Tutorial). I really think it'd do well, as this is genuinely the best I've seen, and I've seen quite literally every S5ii video recently made lol.
Cam looks great. Thinking of switching from canon myself…. Thanks for the vid. Oh tell the wifey the bacon looks good too. The camera made it look delish
Can you tell me the exact settings you have in your editing program for this footage? I bought the gamut Vlog conversion and gamut boost purely due to how great this video looks and the fact that you use it. But I noticed that combo is still really a flat image. What's your contrast like after those steps? Right now I have 1.3 contrast on resolve and +0.2 exposure, and then the LUT combo, and it looks fantastic. But I really want to just copy this video's look exactly, as it's so amazing. .
Nice video. I was wondering, if you set audio to Low Gain mode, do you also have a clicking noise? My camera seems to exhibit it and I don't look know if it's a bad copy or not.
this footage looks amazing, thanks for the test! there's no distracting rolling shutter, colors is amazing, very pleasing picture overall looking forward for 5IIx as well btw is sensor dust generally an issue with this camera (like with Sony ones) or it was just a small accident? 😅
What stabilization setting did you have on? I didn’t notice much IBIS wobble at all like I have in other people’s videos that did a vlog test with the S5II
Noah, great video. Was wondering, is it possible to share the free pack luts? The website from the link you shared stopped working and I can't get them anymore.
@@noahusescameras Ah, I have a another quetion! Did u use any filters? It seems bright day in vid. So, did u use ND? or just auto ISO? I don't see any bad noise in your footage! It's amazing..
