The issues with rolling shutter is not really about panning… it’s about walking with the camera. Once you start to move the motion can become unsettling as the rolling shutter artifacts distort the image. I have a Red Komodo and this was one of the first things I noticed was how much better moving shots look. FYI : I owned the Panasonic. It’s a great camera, but it’s high time Panasonic started to offer cameras with a fast readout speed. Good video, keep it up.

Well it depends how the movement is, if you are cat walking, you will not have a problem, if you’re running that’s become a problem. At least that something I saw from my experience, and ofc the Komodo is better because of the global shatter, but it cost 2 or 3 times more, so yeah I agree Panasonic needs to do better and faster sensors, but it will come with a price, and before doing that they need to reach the biggest amount of creators and people. Sony did that, and I think that’s what they are doing. But the S1H2 will probably be way better. Thanks for watching and for the constructive comment ✌🏾

Oh nice, what you shoot on as for Canon? And how is it going with the S5?

@@samuelboatengyt I do weddings and models and senior portraits mostly. I like the limit so far have really one one shoot with it so far. It did pretty good, I had an issue occasionally, but probably just my unfamiliarity with it!

Good points. I love mine and I can't wait to see what they add to the S1H ii. I've been shooting movie/video and photos for almost 50 years and never once ever cared about rolling shutter. I guess it matters to camera testers and camera whippers but I'll never buy a camera just for that feature.

im with you right there man. i also got the s5iix about 6 months ago and i cannot go back to Nikon or Canon. I tried Sony prior to lumix and i just couldnt make it happen there either.

Thanks for watching. Go in the manure where you selected the picture profiles, go to Real time lut, click the down button and you can turn it on and off, and if you read on all the options on the screen you will find how to set the lut by clicking on LUT select

no, it (the Sony 7 IV) does NOT COST MORE in Europe @01:08: the difference is b/c VAT which is what the government robbs from ppl -- we could all SAVE those $500 if it wasn't for the government thugs fleecing "their" poo citizens! If you don't know the first thing about something, then do not "advise" on it. Also, it's no wonder Lumix is "on par with or better than" Canon when it comes to colors: because Lumix just IS, as Canon is not so great to begin with...

First thing, chill out. 2. VAT are still part of the cost you want it or not, and LUMIX have it too, so if we take the VAT off, the cost will still be the same difference. So what are we talking about?! Maybe you should look in to your infos before advising on something. 3. Well the industry says so, not only me. So then you’re right, and all the professionals are dumb.
