Oh it's definitely not a coincidence. I believe she was murdered because she wasn't performing anymore, the breeding programs ended and she wasn't making them any money and she still had to be fed everyday. I outright believe they saw her as a burden and an expense with no return.... 🥺 She was a big, beautiful being who deserved for us to give back to her all that we took away. We humans are unbelievably cruel and evil.... 😭

Do you have an actual source that says the Lummi hunted whales? Because every source I've found says the Makah were historically associated with whale hunting, not the Lummi
