I bought a kit from Luna in 2016 to build a birthday present bike for my girlfriend and Luna put a big hand drawn Badger 🦡 and Birthday messages on the box!!! I still have the drawings and the bike still performs like the day I built it. I will always love Lunacycle and am so happy to see how far they have come ❤️❤️❤️
Great video! It's fun to see how far Luna has come since my first order (BBHD) in 2015. Keep up the great work, you folks offer great value and real quality. Ride On!
I really liked the REAL reviews and straight talk information in this video. Waaay better than a quick 30 sec b-roll shot with fancy music to market a bike.
Great presentation! I loved all the explanations of how Luna Cycles started and evolved..keep making quality bikes and have strong customer support...AND this company is headed for even bigger things. Thanks for the video. I love companies with quality in mind!! Keep up the great work; this is America! A place where quality service and products are dreamed of...And the place where those dreams come true!! ❤️😊
I'm researching your company for a possible future purchase of a X2. Thank you for being such a honest straight forward manufacturer. It truly is refreshing to watch a video like this and know I feel confident in a purchase.
A quality product needs no sales pitch as it quite simply sells itself. If I lived in the states I would be applying for a the sales position instantly. Great products, great company. Great line up.
I recently purchased the Galaxy Paint... it has far exceeded what I would have expected. Now I am just waiting for Luna to offer a full build kit that I can purchase to install. Keep up the great work Luna... I enjoy your informative video's... keep them coming!
Great looking line up. I'm definitely impressed with my KHS 3000 from you guys. Yes I bought it used from a friend, but it's so easy to ride and I've been working it over with a few mods. It will be my primary commute vehicle during the week and then will be bike camping with it on weekends. Have to install my front pannier rack and my hitch still still for my home built camp trailer and install my new battery pack (which I'm waiting to do right now until you all have steel gears in stock again).
The Stealth Fixed is almost a perfect commuter/road bike. Keep the belt and igh, replace current mid drive with a bafang m600, add a 48-52v 20-25ah battery and fenders. Build a frame that also stealthily integrates these features. At this point, it's a different type of bike, but the upgrades would add substantial value.
Thank you for sharing this update! Luna is the sh***. Love you guys. Can't wait for V2 Ludi to sell as a standalone!! Need MOAR BATTERIES 52V 28AH & 60V+ 72V!!! Take my money!!!
You are a true American bad ass company with great products and American made and support. Love my Surron and will buy my next bike from LUNA. Great vid!!!!!!!
Thanks for the 2021 Model Lineup Review Eric! I’ll be buying a bike from you this year. Biking at Landsailing dry lakes is a kick when the wind is not blowing as I can easily sail over 60 mph downwind when it does!
Outstanding presentation with no bloopers. Well done. Your V2 controller is an absolute game changer. I have mine set-up to where the pedal assist is very close to torque sensing. I would love to see an option of 72v battery options at check out, for the Banana, Apex, and Apollo in the future. Cheers👍
I love my BBSHD, I've had it on my Trek Marlin for 3 years now and its still rock solid. Cant say the same for my rear sprocket though lol, this motor has great torque and speed. One day I'll be able to afford an APEX. Keep them coming Eric, great stuff.
I have 10 speed cassette and the 4 smallest sprockets are individual and replaceable, the rest are on two spiders which can be purchased by themselves .Saves me buying a whole new cassette
That's about as straight up as you can be as a Salesman/owner, quite refreshing. Great job Also, X1 should have been up against the white wall, not in front of a lineup of all black bikes, it's a beautiful bike, it needed to be seen better, sorry that was just my thought.
I love the Fixed Stealth. I love that you also own the marketing. Its really cool but I guess it kinda like a cool 4cyl mustang fwd with a big turbo. There's a place for it somewhere.🤷🏿♂️ I think that bike is bad ass and sex! HOWEVER, I'll admit that I'm super stoked about the Banana in Ludacris. 😁 Me and that bike are getting a 📅 soon. Dont change a thing. We'll find you. 😁💪🏿
I'm curious what LUNA has to say about the silent gear upgrade for the X1. There are videos that report it failing when compared to the stock metal gear. What does BAFANG recommend?
You guys should start offering the Rohloff drive system on the Apollo and X1. If it were an option on the Apollo I would have included it in a heartbeat on my order.
I would like to see an overbuilt step through moped style bike with front and rear cargo for everyday use. Also a lower powered super safe high range trike would be great.
There's a reason Specialized Turbo Levo uses an alloy rear triangle: They're almost certain that a carbon fiber one will not hold up more than a few years. And I agree, which is why I decided against buying the Luna x2 and went for the Motobecane Befang m600 Sram Eagle 12. It's heavier than the Luna because it's all alloy but then again I'm not worried about cracking it in a fall.
Love this company and their products, currently have a Luna conversion Bafang mid drive MTB going strong nigh on 3 years, have converted other's bikes as well. I would however strongly disagree with Eric on one thing: torque sensor pedaling is way way way better than cadence only, IMO it's essential. I'm currently looking at the X1 Enduro which has it. Would not buy a new ebike without torque sensor. Otherwise you are constantly mashing the assist level button up and down for any kind of terrain change. Or you leave it in a lower assist mode and then have to work the throttle to get an extra burst. Much better to have a torque sensor so you can generally ignore both the assist level button and the throttle.
I’d like the babe! But having the bike as a single speed would that limit anything as far as living in a flat city? And as a single speed would it be ok with Ludacris controller?
DAM GREAT VIDEO THOSE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL BIKES I DUNNO HOW WE NEVER MET MAN I HAD AND STILL HAVE A SICK ASS GOPED SINCE WHEN YOU HAD AND WERE SELLING THOSE N OF COURSE IT HITS 50MPH SUPER XPED WITH BIGBORE STROKER KIT ON THE G230RC MOTOR LOL THING IS WIKKED YEA MAN IF YOU EVER TAKE PAYMENTS IM ALL IN AND COULD BE YOUR SALES MAN DOWN IN JERSEY FORSURE
Very nice line-up of bikes. Wish I lived closer, I'd visit and every week and feature them on my RU-vid channel. I know I could sell these like HotCakes. I like the whole Wolf/Luna name and theme too. I play Elder Scrolls Online and belong to a Guild named Lunacy, even my female Husky is named Luna.....lol
I love my Fat Galaxy. Please make an electric MTB in aluminum (or even better, steel), hardtail, BBSHD, with a 27.5 or 29 X 2.2-2.4" tire. I'd buy it tomorrow to complement my Galaxy.
Blew the controller after 12,000 miles throttle to the peg1350 watts🙄(wore out 3 mongoose fat tires $600 for all 3🤣🤣🤣 ) a ludicrous sine wave controller????me @210 lbs all through axles???? Plastic instead of nylon ???? Your 20 amph Triangle 52 volt battery has over 2300 cycles (80% 20% NASA data on batteries ROCKS) no charges under 28°f thx Eric for the great charger as well with choice of % charge and charging rates jumping to your site Glad to see you up and running
I'd REALLY recommend removing Fixed from the name and just call it the Stealth. I was really attracted to this bike but instantly turned off assuming it was a fixed gear bike.
I hope that” people “wondering on warranty..( i hope I say this right sir ..total RESPECTS) just pay for that . As you put the best parts on your bikes,! Nuff said . or make them yourself in house which is 10 x a better off the shelf product.! So prices don’t have to be higher too ? Maybe a Warranty of : if its a lemon part n that happens..” warranty. “ Your name needs no more ! If a snowflake wants a warm n fuzzy he can pay for a warm n fuzzy warranty . Thanks for all you do !
Great work. You should probably call these "electric motorcycles" because people think they can do 25 on a bike path with them. With power comes responsibility. Ride with the cars if you want to speed.
Great video and products but I was quite disappointed when I went to your website and found that almost all of the featured bikes and upgrade kits are out of stock with no promise date.
Its very hard to keep our most popular items in stock this time of year....this year especially with all the covid and shipping shortages. Sorry about this. I can say that all of the bikes in this video will be in stock at some point this summer so make sure you name is on the notify list.
