The lunar eclipse took place between January 20th at 8pm and January 21st at 1am, although I had been filming the moon about an hour before the eclipse started. When the moon came up in the evening, I started recording the eclipse from my window, and then through the skylight after the moon was at too high of an angle. I sat outside for 3 more hours so I could capture the entirety of the eclipse.
I used my DSLR camera with "magic lantern" firmware and a 250mm zoom lens to record the time lapse. I know 250mm is still not ideal for lunar photography but that is the longest lens I have.
