This is simply the best solo podcast on socialisation. In the end as he said, how engaged or lost you were while doing your so called "productivity work" only matters. The reasoning that because that work is "good" or "healthy" changes nothing.

I find it difficult to go to social functions because I often don't know why I am there. I usually resort to just asking people a bunch of questions to learn who they are, what they think and what keeps them going in life. I've had answers every where from needing to laugh to an opportunity to drink. I do sometimes get something out of it that helps me on my own journey but it is very rare. I do prefer to be alone, and this helps me understand why now.
