Finished watching now, thanks for showing the filter, amazement here too! Wonder what happens if you tip the machine up when it's on? Although by the looks of it you wouldn't in normal use anyway. Seemed quite loud and high pitched though... But vibrated that carpet well!

That is truly amazing. It solves typical stick vac problem where the weight is in your hand. Lupe puts the weight to the floor. Onboard hose, filtration, bin size and cleaning performance seems to be the best what I have seen. + it has strong visual agitation. I have never seen so good agitation from a cordless vacuum.

I think Roger would do a good job of making official instructional videos.

A question, if I may. As you're about to show us what's in the bin on the cleaner (18:36 on the video), it looks like the bin handle is covered in flour. Was that the case, or is the handle transparent as with the bin and I'm actually seeing inside the dust chamber, please?

Very impressive and aesthetically pleasing. But with a £699 price tag consumers are being asked to pay a lot for the modern convenience of a cordless machine!

An unbiased video, so well done on another job well done. I must say having watched quite a few when you talk about cleaning filters and leaving them to dry you say 'upto 24 hours', what I think you mean to say is 'a minimum of 24 hours'. Other than that faultless.

This is an excellent review, thanks! I look forward to future versions. I know this is nit-picky, but the hose doesn't fit into the slot in front, and as the hose gets worn in it'll get sloppier. I imagine it slapping around as I vacuum. Just the visual of the hose not being in the slot picks at me. The feet on the removable motor are a great idea, but look like an afterthought. Also, they gotta work on the pitch of the motor. It's an audio representation of the hose slot. I shook my head like an etch-a-sketch to loose the sound from my ear. I'm sure they'll get it, the designers are clever. For the premium price I'd expect a work of art. I'm hoping for a minimalist docking station for tool storage and so I don't have a cord hanging off the wall when the vacuum isn't home. I appreciate the removable battery, and hope that shape is compatible with future models. Running lights are a must. And a black version. The black on the handle is nice, just do more of that. IDK, if you're going to be 4x the price of a refurbished Shark ION P50 and perform only moderately better your design better tell my guests I have taste. (Let's at least pretend) Anyway, it looks amazing and I'm looking forward to v2.0.

Nice video Roger, Is it worth £700 ? Not for me. Rather buy a bagged Miele or Sebo for that money.

Can't wait to see what Roger thinks of this. Unfortunately, I don't have a time machine, so I'll have to. It's clearly got some flaws, not least the price (£699) but if it gives more than 20 mins of corded level performance, it could be a game changer.

Received today. Hmm. It's not all positive like this video makes out. In terms of raw suction it's very good. However there are a number of annoyances not least dirt getting stuck up at the top of the bin that won't come out! Storing the thing is also difficult. No folding or wall hanging. Converting to handheld is a faff although when done it's quite productive.

I spent the money on this. Feel duped. Clearance on head to high. Pushes debris on wood and tile to edge. Anaemic on anything but high. Actually takes longer on mid and low covering areas repeatedly than getting the corded cylinder vac out.

Backed this on Kickstarter, waiting patiently for its arrival this is the first real test I've seen. Looks promising although edge cleaning looked a bit iffy. Also it looks a faff to convert to handheld mode, the shark is good in that respect. Also no mini motor head is a shame, especially at £700!

Seems to combine the best of Dyson (multi-cyclonic) with Shark (Ergonomics and dual-roller head) - I wonder if they are heading for some patent issues?

I'm seeing a list price of +/- £460 ...but a lot of on offer discounts. Designed by a former Dyson employee it says. Humm. It looks cheap, but obviously does a surprisingly good job. Lovely to have options.

Really impressive machine and rather sexy looking. Lol Very nice to see some innovation in the design area; seems like many vacuums especially cordless look so similar. I believe Lupe was founded by former Dyson engineers so that would probably explain why it has some DC cues. Seems as though Lupe will bring this machine to North America soon based on the fact it comes supplied with the US plug adapter. Not sure how well it do over here given the fact that looks like it will carry a high price tag.

After having a Dyson V6 & V10, Shark Duo Clean and currently have the Shark Anti hair wrap, i still find myself hunting for a Better Machine? Could this be it? I don't know. Most expensive of them all so far but does the machine make up for the Price Tag?. Not sure. 1st you need both hands to operate for above floor cleaning, previous models I've had are all handheld. 2nd it's quite noisy compared to its rivals? (Could be me) 3rd, Car Cleaning. It seems a bit cumbersome for cleaning the car giving that you have to usually get in your car when vacuuming - again both hands are used. 4th how does it handle hair on the brush roll? The girls in my house have long hair and it's always been a issue hence going for the Shark Anti hair wrap. does the Lupe deal with hair in the same way? Finally, for the price I would have like to seen a seperate powered Tool similar to shark and Dyson. Lupe @ £699 but lacking some of the features of its cheaper rivals?

Whats the oldest cordless vacuum out there all i can think of is the dustbusters that took 8 hours to charge and lasted 15 mins🤣

It looks like a very high quality product. Throughout the video I wondered if it was made by Vorwerk but I looked into the background of the product and it’s a newly “Kickstarted” company. Very nice

Great numbers and performance but not even the smallest light. Which means that I won't ever use it unless someone I know buys it and lets me use it, with a flashlight light or maybe one of those lights you wear on your head. What a shame.

£700??? For something they didn't even bother to produce in the UK, but rather, in China, from a company no-one has heard of, and for a mediocre product that looks cumbersome, has pretty old fashioned separation and filtration. Dear oh dear. Never in a million years would I pay that much for anything thats made in China, meaning it will be shoddy made and highly likely fall apart just after the 2 year guarantee ends and 100 quid dearer than Dyson's top of the line V11. Sorry but when you can pay £300 - £400 for a top of the line German made Sebo or Miele, this pitiful excuse for a vacuum is nowhere near worth £700. Sorry to be harsh, but China is not exactly flavour of the month these days, and to produce that machine there when you are supposed to be a UK company is not going to gel. If Numatic can stick to production in the Uk and charge less than £200 for pretty much all of their domestic lineup, then I think Lupe have a downright cheek to ask £700 for a Chinese built battery vacuum.

Isn't this the company who was started by ex dyson engineers who just ripped off dyson motor technology and put it in there own machine. Dyson needs so sue them for patent infringement.
