Crazy wind as usual greeted me on Sunday morning as i headed out onto the beautiful waters of Lake Macquarie in search of some lure crunching Fish. The day didn't disappoint as the fish fired even in the horrible conditions. I stuck as close as i could to the more protected areas to be able to bring all you guys an girls a video. Always great content from you Andrew. Every time I watch your videos I get jealous. To have a waterway like you have in your backyard is great wish I had it. You are a master at work well done mate. Just remember to take the net next trip out.

🤣🤣 works a treat. An of course i get bulk flathead, the most likely bite off candidate. Was touch an go on a few there when they were thrashing around boatside.

I actually still need to put it back in the boat 🤣 i wont do that again anytime soon. The audio was a bit hit an miss with that wind but i couldnt do much about. An i almost lost the drone twice on take off over the side of the boat. Lets just say it was eventful 🤣 but plenty of great fish. Thanks for watching 🙏

I noticed the last couple of vuds you've been using heavier than usual jigheads. Is it just me or you upsize for the windy conditions? Or you fish heavier normally? I'm always shy about using heavy jigs even in deep water because I would guess the fish are bolting at size of the bombs coming at them! 😅

@@danielsvozil7177 i definitely go heavier to keep some feel when its windy mate. I cant stand having that big bow in my line an usually ive had no dramas getting fish on the heavier heads. Alot of the time i current im using at least 5/8 oz aswell. Fish dont seem to mind. I will use 1/2 or 3/8 if its in the lake and not windy.
