Time to go BIG: lure making big GT Popper. The first part includes turning of the lure blank on the lathe and preparing through w ire harness. I'm sharing some tips how to efficiently create popper's cup and how to make sure your hardware is up to the challenge of GT fishing 🎣
Saatnya menjadi BESAR: iming-iming membuat GT Popper besar. Bagian pertama meliputi pembubutan blanko umpan pada mesin bubut dan persiapan melalui wire harness. Saya membagikan beberapa tips cara membuat popper's cup secara efisien dan cara memastikan perangkat keras Anda mampu menghadapi tantangan memancing GT.

I cannot and will not say anything bad about your lathe turning skills, because I have never used a lathe and probably wouldn't be any better. 😁 The lure blank you removed from it looks pretty sweet. Nice job!

It was more difficult and time consuming then anticipated, but the result was very satisfying indeed 😃 and the second popper (turned without camera pressure) came even easier 💪 take care 👋🎣

@@SuchaJerkCustomLures I know what you mean my friend. I finished making a 4-piece swimbait lure last week using a pinned hinge for the first time and it was a lot more work than the twist-eye joints that I normally use. I wasn't completely happy with the freedom of movement in the joints. So I just finished making the second one this morning and it's much better. Seems we always put a little pressure & stress on ourselves by pushing the limits to new horizons in order to better ourselves. Keep on keeping on!

Dzięki 🙂 ale niestety effect końcowy nie jest zbyt powalający 😣 testuje dwie różne nowe epoxy (stara się w końcu skończyła po 6 latach 🫣) i na obu się robią rozstępy, w dodatku przy ostatniej warstwie kot zrzucił z suszarki na papierowy ręcznik, jeszcze klejąca się przynętę 🤦

Why not buy cheep rolling pins from the Pound shop's, beechwood turns and sand's so good and the rolling pins save half of the work. I really miss my wood lathe, on it most day's until some kind person burnt my shop to the floor at 3am. Police found who did it but they were only 14 years old so nothing was done.

I did the popper for personal use. My strongest reel is Shimano Spheros 10k with max drag force of 10kg/22lb, I can assure you with that max dragg the wire is safe. Two years ago I caught yellow fin tuna of 11kg/24lb on stick bait with the same wire setup and the lure was not damaged whatsoever.
