For everyone saying how great Luther was I agree and that's why I'm here. This is not him. It's an English band playing in his style and it sounds damn good!
For all who wanted to know. The Tooting Frooties on this cut were Noel Brown & George Lloyd on guitars, John Butcher on bass & Brian Nevill on drums. Recorded on a mono tape machine in the cellar under 3 Kentish Town Road, London in 1976. It was released on Magic 101.
Through the fog and rain and twisted wigs of you tube, comes a clearing in the sky that's blue and true,...I hope ,...if so, these words are for you djquu. Thank you djquu because I have come across some things on you tube that at first had me saying ,...WTF then I went to,...why would they do this, until there was just nothing else to do but make fun of it and then puke. So again djquu thank you.
is this off an album or a bootleg??? I have seen him do some instrumental stuff, but hadn't nailed it down to an album or something I could find and download.
Close but Luther can't be imitated as you can hear,No one can play like Luther Perkins no one not even Bob Wooten like he was close but there will only be one great Luthur Perkins.
