I live in Luton mate. Been in the town centre after dark you need your wits about you shall we say. That's why the locals keep away. It's dangerous.

As someone who lives in Oxford, I can tell you that no one lives in the town center except students. If you were to visit the areas where people do live you will see a huge disparity between the town center and the estates. Particularly where I grew up in Cowley. It has the same issues as most towns in England.

I'm from a middle class town just 10 mins down the road from Luton and the difference is shocking

I worked at jobs 22 luton for 9 months last year - getting people back into employment. 100 people on my caseload and I'd say around 50% can't even speak English. They are taking money and going back to their own countries regularly. It's a complete mockery.

I'm from Luton. When I go into town, which is rarely, I like to get out as soon as possible. Doesn't even feel like I'm in the UK anymore in this town.

Luton has been a sh*thole for over thirty years - I went to University there in the early 90's and it had gone by then. It's another country now. The only time I ever go anywhere near it is to go to the Airport. Otherwise I avoid it like the plague.

Take me back to the 80s

Luton, my home town. It used to be a proud industrious working town, where blue collar workers lived and socialised with white collar ones. Youngsters used to travel in from neighbouring towns for it's nightlife. Now anyone with taste or a disposable income can't leave quick enough. I can walk from one end of the town centre now and not hear English. Thank F*** we moved away.

I lived in Birmingham England for 6 years but it was the villages in England that impressed me the most, they were like heaven on earth! Don't let go of who you are.

I've lived in Luton my whole life, and I genuinely love it here. If you come here looking for the bad, that's exactly what you'll see. There's plenty of good here in Luton- including the football club and it's story, Warden Hill, the Bear Club and the wider arts scene in the Town. You just have to look past the headlines and the easy comments that suggest that the town is a bad place to be. Luton's got a lot going for it, it just has to fight a constant battle against people that put it down

All those young foreign men in luton town centre hanging out are immigrants who are being held in local immigrant centres. They have nothing else to do but hang around the town centre. All the English people are at work. Luron has white areas and bury park is the Pakistani area.

I remember in school they would tell us how horrible it was that public executions would happen in England, and how we were such a backwards, non modern , religious fanatic extremist christian society, then the next year the same teacher taught us law and punishment and how each religion tells you to respond to crime, the same teacher praised Islam for having very harsh punishments like cutting off arms for stealing according to sharia law. When we do something we are horrible according to them. When the muslim countries like the UAE do it its beautiful and one of the safest places in the world!

Those tent encampments could be closed down in an hour if the really wanted to do it. Same for the stop oil protests. But the thing is, they dont want to solve the issue.

Im british pakistani (and very muslim). Make of that what you will. I was born here, not my fault. I dont hate the UK, infact, i love it. And i love the people (the ones that dont hate me). Luton is still an English town. I was happy to see the ceremony at the end of the video. Oxford is a gem. Even if we removed every black and brown face from the UK ,not every town would look like Oxford. The nature of capitalism means that social inequity will always be a thing. The poor will move to luton, the rich will stay in oxford. The problem with luton is not that its full of black and brown and european people but rather the class of those people is very low. They are low earners or umemployed. There are a lot of loiterers. Places like this deserve the most governement help to level the playing field but no, this is not how the governement works.

Not entirely directly relevant to this upload but I've literally just arrived back at ''home'' in London after a couple of days in Warsaw. The contrast hits you right when you step off the plane, I came via lovely Luton btw. Even leaving from Luton airport the UK staff on the terminal were shouty and unfriendly, the vibe changed immediately as I stepped inside the plane with it's Polish crew. It's way calmer there, clean and safe which goes without saying but people are just calmer and more civilised. They are far politer than people here (I'm not saying British as we're a minority where I am). There are foreigners there but because they haven't had mass immigration, they behave like everyone there. For example an uber driver who I think was Iranian judging by his name only spoke Polish - which I don't have a problem with as I was in Poland and am able to greet and thank in Polish, and can speak a bit more( albeit broken) Polish if necessary, I don't expect everyone there to speak English although many do - and the directions to my hotel on his gps were in Polish, here in London it would probably be in Arabic or something. Came out of the terminal to take a Nat Express coach back to London, the lady marshalling the queue spoke unintelligible English and got snappy and rude with me for not understanding what she was saying. Got off the coach link in London and before I'd even crossed the road to the tube station was accosted by a crackhead hassling me for money. On the tube a couple of ''roadmen'' strode through the carriages talking about how they're going to kill someone, probably bravado but still not conducive to a civilised atmosphere. It's horrible being back.

Thank you for your defence of Churchill. I was brought up on a diet of anti-Churchill unsubstantiated beliefs. When I actually looked into it, none of these beliefs could be confirmed. There was no massacre of striking miners in Llanelli or Ton y Pandy, his role in the Bengal Famine has been revised and rewritten, his comments regarding the Black and Tans or the use of CS Gas against the Kurds has all been edited and subject to falsification.

Just three years ago, in my little town, everyone was English and English speaking. In just three short years we now have countless blacks ,Asians and foreign whites. They all seem to be street people. The white English still disappear in the mornings to work but the newcomers all appear to have free time on their hands to stroll the streets. Explain?

I live just down the road from Oxford! Oxford city gets Double the council funding from the government,as swindon. We have the same population in numbers. I call it "cash cow economics" Some towns get funding,some don't Our town is growing every year. Population growth = tax revenue. Strange times we are living in

Great video, contrasting the beauty and history of England, with the decline in not just our universities with their political indoctrination ( 2024 and your wearing face masks 🤬) to the decline in our inner cities with mass immigration. We often get called racist for pointing this out . But if you went to Jamaica for a holiday, had a fantastic time taking in the culture. Went back 20 years later and now whole areas have been taken over by Chinese and their culture, is that still Jamaica?? Only by name I'd say , that's what's happening across Britain. There will be in the next few years a mass exodus of English people moving to eastern Europe, as England is full of different cultures that don't get on , have little in common, with a lot of those cultures hating the indigenous English and our history. This is a difficult and emotive subject, and I think you go about it well. And I think everyone in the UK needs to know how other people are feeling about immigration and integration. It must be said that those typically 'English' surnames that fell for Luton and other Towns fought in 2 World Wars alongside their Indian, African and Asian bretheren who were colonial subjects of this Nation and other European Allies. Many many suffered and died from the Colonies, where we (GB) amongst others had previously invaded their countries and subjugated their peoples. The fact that you see the descendants of some of these peoples in our streets and as British Citizens is Karma as far as I can see it. Providing shelter and Asylum to the oppressed is a key part of British Culture. We've also invited masses of former colonials to come and do the jobs that British people don't want to do, and we continue to need immigration for this reason. There are white English people spread about in diasporas all over Europe (ask the Spanish about the Costa Coast) and Asia, and Aussies and New Zealanders are everywhere - no one seems to want to recall them home as a matter of principle, or for ruining or affecting other cultures. (Actually the Spanish are probably fed up of so called 'British Culture'). As long as people can be given and accept the opportunity to work, pay taxes, work within our established systems of government and law and order and educate their children to do the same, then I don't care what colour their skin is - they are welcome. There are too many white British who don't or won't.... When and if we put up memorials to name our conscripted dead for WW3, it'll have a greater range of surnames, but they'll still be on the Wall.

The reason you can’t get own the property ladder is because there is too much pressure on housing stock. Why? Prices are being driven up artificially. Why? Homes are being bought as an investment. As long as those land owners you mentioned have a sense of, and are part of our history and they understand our culture, that’s fine. Land management is expensive, long term and requires a lot of skill. The alternative is foreign investment purely for profit. This should be stopped. Britain is no longer for sale.

I recently came across your channel some interesting debate and well put across, fairly & square. A bit of a misleading title however, as only 1/4 being on Luton. Oxford, lovely city, when i was 17 (30 years ago) my cousin and myself cycled from where i live in Birmingham to Oxford and back, we only intended cycling to Stratford but what started as a joke became a challenge neither of us wanted to back down. Needless to say, we were exhausted afterwards as 120 mile round trip on pedal bikes 😮
