Luxury trains in India are Palace on Wheels, Maharaja express, Deccan Queen. This is just an AC coach in a train but yes these are the newly introduced coaches. Earlier coaches had not such big windows. :)

That sounds easy, Kirti, but it's all in the balance. I'm going to take Ashish's advice and find an Indian grocery store. Hopefully, I can find the suggested Chai Masala. If I get adventurous, I'll try making it myself. Thank you so much for your advice, Kirti!

Kathy Jollie Ask an indian customer who is visiting an indian store rather than the store owner. That would be much helpful. Also you would need milk, tea leaves, water, ginger, sugar, black pepper -optinal, cardomam - optional

They are not travelling in luxary train. They are in vistadome coach of an ordinary train in India. These are specially made tourist coaches attached in trains that run on scenic routes. Yes its not luxury train, this is just a normal A/C train. But there are 9 to 10 luxurious trains available here in india among those Maharaja express & Palace on wheels are the top most luxurious trains in world.

Yes, it is a normal tourist Vistadom train in India as well....if u want to visit in a luxury train in India....travel on MAHARAJA EXPRESS. It costs $ 2000 USD for one person....

I don't know if you can call this a luxury train like the top of the line ... India has other real luxury trains such as Maharajas’ Express (as far as I have read it's amongst the top 5 luxury trains in the world ) 2)Royal Rajasthan 3)Deccan Odyssey 4) Palace on wheels And many more are there , all are like 5 star hotels. This I guess is like a semi luxury train , you can also check out the new Tejas express which runs from Mumbai to Goa . Awesome video non the less ...

I've travelled a few times 2nd class A/C in the shatabdi (Bangalore to Chennai) and you will get most the same amenities in second class a/c cabin.. Same seat/leg room, plug socket and meals.. The toilet might be a little nicer and you get the sunroof/viewing gallery.. Trains in India are great! The chai rocks!

Yes! Luxury trains are itself other version in rail like maharaja express that runs in rajasthan, deccan odyssey and golden chariot. But I don't think here they mean this train as like those luxury trains but their trip being luxurious travelling in amazing scenery. Way of expressing thoughts

Really. Not even in europe we have just good trains. This is so much. Here we have 1 class and 2 class and even 1 class is not so good. Only if is in some place very specific. But majority of trains here have only 2 classes and 1 class is less good that that one. So i understand when they call luxuious. And its so huge diference between classes there.

Being an Indian, i wont say this is a "Luxury" train. Luxury trains of India include palace on wheels, Maharaja's express, the deccan Odyssey, Golden chariot, royal rajasthan on wheels, The Royal Orient.....this is a new train but certainly Isnt Luxury. Also, 100 rupees for a cup of tea and maggie. You guys are adorable haha. I'm so happy to have you here. :))

It's not a luxury train bro . Luxury trains are maharaja express , palace on wheels , Rajasthan on wheels , the deccan Odyssey , the golden chariot etc . Please don't bring this in luxury segment . Luxury one's have gym , spa , bar , restaurants etc in them and they are very costly . Can even cost u 1000 USD per day

It is a normal green place in India. If you go to north, south and north east_ you will feel like heaven. And 9 states of India are very snowy_World's second much coldest place is dras sector in Laddakh (India)_And Andman-Nicobar islands and Lakhshdweep islands are heavenly islands of India with white sandy beaches, blue crystal clear water and beautiful jungle. Andman-Nicobar islands, capital - portblair is near Indonesia and Lakhshdweep islands, capital - Kawaratti is near Maldives.......

Those who are saying it's not a luxury train should know the difference between luxury and ultra luxury. It is a luxury bogie which you got. It isn't called executive class for no reason. The Maharaja Express etc trains are for ultimate Royal king/queen royalty like experience

Thank God someone is showing our premium trains too...others used to show only the cheaper one's which are meant for the people who cannot afford...or who are in lower middle class...people outside India has to understand that we can't have every train premium coz lower middle class can't afford it...so we have to run trains for all the classes...including who can't even afford to travel...thnku for showing this...& It's not the only one train...there are Tejas, rajdhani, gatimaan etc .....& Pls do check our luxury trains too...bt thy r very much costly...thank uhh guys🙏🙏

Sarcasm everywhere,,, they think that we Indians are not just poor and illiterate but even dumb that we cant hear sarcasm in voice... they would have thought they will have to pay just 1-2 dollars for luxury experience,,, I think they are literate with no human feelings which includes respect towards poverty struggles, they only show how rich they are and dont think how lucky they are on having what they have! I have too much respect to our guests but I cant afford Sarcasm

For All International and Domestic travelers... This is just normal vistadome coach which cost almost 8 times of normal ticket. The Luxury trains are 1. Golden chariot 2. Palace on wheels 3. Royal Rajasthan on wheels 4. Deccan odessi 5. Magaraja express The ticket cost is from few lacs rupees which is much higher than 5 star hotels and they are mainly for super rich or people who earn in USD or GBP....

So a little extra here. The train you just went on is actually really really rare. 😁 That's not the usual 1st class train but it's pretty cool!! I've never been on one being an Indian!! 😂 Here we have mainly two kinds of 1st AC coaches. *(1)* One is with chairs like you people went in. This is typically around 5 or 6 to a max of 10 hours. I haven't seen anything more than 10 hours. *(2)* 1st AC that gives you a private cabin (Rajdhani Express and even Duronto's). The private cabin can have 4 beds or just 2 beds (bunk bed style for couples). 🙂 These trains are anything from a few hours to 2 and a half days of journey!! You should try that once!! The Delhi-Trivandrum-Delhi Rajdhani Express actually goes via Goa but you need to book tickets upto 90 days in advance!! Have fun! 🤗

that trains beautiful, i've travelled that route but have'nt seen this carriage. I went on normal sleeper class with bunks. The big windows in your carriage are probably the best thing to take in the beautiful scenary
