LWT closedown, Night Thoughts & weather announcer Sue Peacock 11th November 1984 

11/11/84. The STV programme ending at the beginning was "Gone for a Soldier".

I remember Sue Peacock as an announcer with LWT/ITV at the time. I am sure I saw her on the series Did You See....? on BBC2 in the early 1980s (presumably before this) which showed that she was a mum of two who came from Malpas in Cheshire at the time. (Did You See...? was a review series presented by Ludovic Kennedy that ran from 1980 to 1988, although it was revived between 1991 to 1993 with Jeremy Paxman at the time). I wonder where she is now? Presumably retired I guess with being older, so I wish her well anyway too. Thank you of course!!

That STV endcap didn't make it clear enough the programme was made in Scotland.
