Just wanted to thank you for this. Wasn't planning on learning this, but your video showed up in my feed and I've spent the last day playing this song obsessively. One of the great things about becoming more proficient on the guitar (big emphasis on MORE and less on proficient. 😁👍) is finding I can sometimes play songs that felt out of reach, in terms of making it sound good enough not be an embarrassing pastiche of the original. This is very good. I hope you told the Eagles as their drummer and singer is known for taken stuff down if they do not get a cut. I can play this, but i use Munson's version. He got a strike because he made his too close to the song, go figure, he used a Barre B minor and the Eagles did not like. This version is very good and its great you do it to the actual song not a cover.
Thank you. Yes it is risky doing anything by Eagles. This is however a cover too but I decided to base it on the original arrangement which I do from time to time. I prefer creating different "unplugged" arrangements rather than reproducing the original songs.
