This time i visit the lovely Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis. Famous for its Jurassic coastline. I explore some of the narrow backstreets before walking along the famous seafront.
Nice burr in the accent, accompanied by Supertramp Mr Bluesky😊 i grew up in east Devon 30+yrs ago but we use to pop over the Lyme to see friends, take the Labs for walks so this a real nice nostalgic post so thx❤
Spent my childhood holidays in Lyme, (many summers), while my parents buggered off somewhere else and left me in the fantastic care of the Taylors who lived at Hatchet, a beautiful house right beside the river Lym. (Never call it a brook or stream!) Wonderful memories from '60's Lyme. ❤
@@user-zo4hq5bp3m It is a lovely place. We were back in Lyme Regis just a few days ago as we are on holiday down that way. Mainly going yo Sidmouth though for the folk festival. Video to follow. 😊😊👍👍
Been through Lyme Regis many times while on holiday. Its a lovely town but not suitable for traffic, especially on the sharp bend. I had no idea that the back streets were so old and picturesque and had i known at the time, I would have walked around there. Thanks for showing what I had missed. It made for a good video, that I never got to do out and about.
Your right. It's not very suitable for traffic. We always park up the hill & walk down as there always is a lot of traffic at the lights at the bottom of the hill. 😊😊
Lucky you. Its also one of our favourite places. We are off to Tenby in Wales for the next few days which is also an amazing place to visit. Have a great time in Lyme Regis. 😊
