I'm so pleased that this has 0 dislikes - and it better stay that way. Badalamenti is a genius w/ how he captures the unsteady dream atmosphere here. At moments, the music subtly resolves itself into standard, jazzy cadences (maintaining a comfortable, Andante tempo throughout), and yet - as a whole - it is so very unsettling. Dreams feel so familiar on the surface (usually we don't even realize we're dreaming), yet there's always something "off" about the physical environment, the dialogue, and the passage of time.
I'd love to listen more of the twisted stuff from this band. The decadence is so obvious, good obvious.... And this music can only be played with the heavy, red curtains and dimmed lights

I'm not musically inclined enough to know what they are...I'm glad they brought back the guitar licks and organ drone in season 3 though as a more subtle Black Lodge motif
They're unusual, and hard to figure out. For the first chord, the best I could come up with is this, which would be an Am/E chord. ---5--- ---5--- ---5--- ---7--- ---7--- ---0--- Or this, basically the same notes repositioned upward... -------- ---10-- ---9---- ---10-- ---0---- ---0---- Best served with a ton of vibrato and reverb.
