I used to live next door to Linda sister back in 1995. She ran a B&B in Blackpool.

RIP Lynda Baron 1939-2022

R.I.P Lynda 😢 as a small child until I was about 5 she was Aunty Mable! Then I discovered Open All Hours about age 6. I was like "wow this is Aunty Mable" then growing up she was Nurse Gladys Emmanuel. And to differentiate the two is easily just as it is with her many other Film, Stage and TV roles over the years which just proves she's one of our greatest actresses! Her performance as Violet Carson in The Road to Coronation Street is just one of many timeless examples of her accolades as an outstanding formidable wonderful and now greatly missed actress and mother. My thoughts and prayers are with Lynda's family and friends! R.I.P Lynda well Lovley lady it's certainly is time to Fly. Fly high (with or without a spiritual colourful spotty Slingsby T67 Firefly) you beautiful wonderful lady! Sleep tight! ❤️

I kinda wish I hadn’t seen this interview. Being 26, I grew up watching Lynda Baron on Come Outside. I have to say I’m aware she is playing a character on television, but in real life she appears very stand-offish and particularly bumptious towards the presenters and audience.

RIP Lynda. Least you could of done was export it to 16:9pb. I’d bet money this came from a Digibeta in 4:3 and was ingested as such?
