Man that whole bit about popularity obscuring quality is so real. Especially when you consider that people actively sink money into cons and weapons, further conflating their opinion on how good a character is. Every time I hear someone suggest on-field Raiden I die a little inside. Every time someone glosses over how strong Wanderer can be I cringe.

In most of the clips, u used burst and skill at the end of the rotation for max damage on his skills; however, by the time you use your skill, benneth burst had already been over. does this mean that shooting another charge shot in benneth burst is more valuable than using his burst and skill in benny ult? Sorry for bad english.

"Chevvy's burst isn't optional" am I stupid or... Couldn't you just do a Bennett E (which I realise involves on fielding Bennett for a second which is already cringe I get it) or maybe 1 CA from Lyney, then Fischl, then Chevvy E? I dunno, seems optional to me to use Chevvy Ult.

Is Furina better than Xianling for the team Lyney, Zhongli, Bennett? Is Kazuha better than Xianling here at F2P level of Lyney investment (assuming the content is not AOE because Xianling is obviously better there due to Lyney's comparative single-target-ness)?

For ppl with less skill he may be mid. But for one who’s ald proficient with him …like u said he’s one of the best speedrunner and dmg dealer in game. He is #2 most popular dps in speedrun tournament in china. I never play him with shielder and I dont have any problem thou i know most ppl cant do that. I think you just need to be proficient enough with him and it will be much easier to pull of. As of rn, he is still being underrated in some part of the community where they dont know how to play him (or dont try to know)

People recommend 2p2p over mh is cuz on avg u will have one stack, which is nearly the same dmg of 2pc's. On top of that you most likely have those in way better condidtion that mh pieces

Honestly I think he's underated due to his gameplay not to everyone taste. Like yeah it's a real pain for peoples to play him but in that case just don't, other great dps exist and no one force you to play genshin a certain way. But I don't really understand the thing to put him bellow where he should be just because you personnally don't like his playstyle. I hesitated between pulling for him or for Arlecchino, and honestly I regret nothing for pulling Lyney. His overall burst damage is just insane and as a Neuvilette main I felt like I didn't want another DPS character like Arlecchino but one that can, if well build and use, one shot anyone and do more than 5 millions damage. And even if I didn't build him well right now with a bad bow and only lvl 62 he already annihilate any ennemies I want and can solo boss that Neuvillette can't like the Hydro boss for Furina. I currently use him in a team with Lyney Furina Chevreuse(C6) and Benett and the only thing I can say is, if you like Lyney's gameplay go for it. Don't take Arlecchino or Hu Tao because peoples say they're better just because they prefer their playstyle. The three are as good as the others so just take the one you feel the best playing with. But great video anyway.

Yeah I'm good. I never use Ganyu on floor 12 for these same reasons. I'm going to get my guaranteed Arlecchino and dip (54 pity atm). Those 4 stars aren't it. Saving some pulls for Chlorinde instead, who is very likely to have Chevreuse on her banner. C0 atm sadge.

Lyney + Noelle is all that you need First, Lyney needs a healer and a shielder on his team and Noelle does both. Not only that, Lyney’s elemental burst makes him a ranged player in the middle of the battle so you can switch to Noelle and kick ass. Truly one of the most powerful duo.

tbh, lyney shouldnt have had the hp drain mechanic. his kit would be the same as it is now if he didnt have the mechanic. neuvillette sacrifices his hp for instantly charge his CA furina sacrifices her party hp for a team wide dmg buff while lyney whose hp is paper thin trades his hp for nothing lol. wtf mihoyo?

Haven’t watched yet but I hope the thumb nail is just trolling because Lyney is absurdly broken if you can pull off his playstyle which isn’t hard for me and I even play on mobile so whoever can’t play him right has skill issue tbh. I generally skip charged atk characters but he’s the first that intrigued me and the only playstyle missing from my account so I went for him and don’t regret it one bit lol

They really charged shot themselves in the foot with Lyney - Lynette would’ve been a way better five star twin.

First time I've heard this opinion by someone(glad) cause been hearing the opposite. Especially by the general community.. Hence i felt Lyney is really overrated, guess i wasn't wrong See he's fine, and kinda has his specialities too like u see a lot of speeduns with Lyney, he is somewhat frontloaded in that regards which i like but still eh I've said Klee is not far behind Lyney in the past( ppl will flame me,but i think TCers understand my pov better),especially in mono pyro Klee should be as good or overtake in Aoe tbh,now even Klee has her best Vape team post Furina... Yes both of them have a very annoying gameplay,kinda shield dependant in a way but that's a given..

You lost me at Raiden and Venti being lackluster. Serpent Knights who can only be grouped by Venti (without freeze) would like to have a word with you If Neuvillette is the comparison metric then ofc everyone is fucked, lol
