There are! Chris Mosier for example is a trans man (female to male), and a 7 time olympic triathlete and duathlete. He is a 3 time Men's National Champion, a Men's All-American, as well a nationally recognized Ironman triathlete. An impressive feat for any man!
@@emilycheng5897 I'm commenting because I see this athlete used as an example from time to time. It should be noted that he is often competing in an age category where he is the only person, or one of two people in that category. That detail is not mentioned when his accolades are listed. You can find the stats for each competition online though. For example he won a national championship in 2019 for mens race walking in the age 35-39 category - he was the only person racing in that category that day. Meaning his time didn't matter. He would have won the national championship in that category no matter how slow he was. His overall placings are usually much further down the line, in the lower half, like 9th out of 13 competitors, or 50th or 127th overall. It's an impressive feat to compete in any sport but he is nowhere near dominating the top men in the country in a way that's comparable to the way these male athletes are dominating females in sport.
You will never see a trans or an intersex competing in artistic gymnastics for example. If you pay attention is the discipline where the exercise are very different between man and woman cause their body would never be able to do the same exercise.
Injustices by who by god, we all suffer natural injustices there’s no human being can change that. Some people are tall, smart, rich, strong by birth. Caster was born with 5a-Reductase 2 deficiency, a condition that affects only genetic males and affects the external genitalia and prostate during development of the male fetus. Semenya was born with ambiguous external genitals and internal testicles producing elevated levels of testosterone. Typically, affected males still develop masculine features at puberty eg deep voice, facial hair and muscle bulk. Whether you call Caster male or intersex, the one thing you cannot call Semenya is female. Certainly not for the purposes of competitive sport. Everyone knows this, Semenya included.
Semenya is socially a woman. She was identified and raised as a girl. However, she is 46XY and has partial androgen insensitivity. Because of this, she has a vagina without internal female reproductive organs, she has internal testes, and in utero and early childhood, her body’s tissues did not respond to testosterone/dihydrotestosterone as a typical XY male’s body does. At puberty, her body responded enough to dihydrotestosterone to stimulate development of a more masculine physique. Semenya did nothing to cause her condition. However, it does give her an unfair advantage in sport over typical 46XX women .

The solution is actually very easy. Just create an extra intersex sport event. The Intersex Olympics! Where all transgenders and intersex persons of any type are allowed to compete. So that the female sport is still fair. And on the other hand you still have a possibility to compete at sport on an international level as a transgender/intersex person, but this time on a level playing field! Everybody happy!

This is a very tough issue, and I feel bad for Caster, none of this is her fault. It’s easy for someone who doesn’t care much about sports to say- just let her compete. But for athletes who’ve trained their whole lives to prepare for these events, and whose livelihood, recognition, and everything else they’ve been fighting for every day since they were young, it’s very hard to say, ya that’s fine we’ll all just compete for 2nd place since we’re racing against someone with a rare medical condition that gives them a unfair advantage. The difference between 2nd and 1st. Or getting a medal and 4th place is huge. It can be the difference between being a famous world champion vs. no one knowing who you are.
