There is no other true American rock band quite like Lynyrd Skynyrd. The iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees are one of the most influential rock and roll legends of our time.
'Live In Atlantic City', the band’s brand new live release, pays tribute to and celebrates the band’s legacy with the help of three incredible artists.
In the Decades Rock Arena in Atlantic City, Lynyrd Skynyrd was joined by incredibly talented guest performers to create one uniquely magical night: 3 Doors Down who rose to international fame with their first single 'Kryptonite', Hank Williams Jr. (yes, the son of the country music singer Hank Williams) and the American singer and songwriter Bo Bice who was a runner up against Carrie Underwood in the 4th season of 'American Idol'.
Newly mixed and mastered, 'Live In Atlantic City' celebrates the legend that is Lynyrd Skynyrd in an energetic 70min show. Each guest artists performs with Lynyrd Skynyrd, thereof 3 Doors Down’s hit 'Kryptonite' and Bo Bice’s 'The Real Thing', the title track to the same titled album the US billboard #4 chart success, with the show peaking in a performance of the Lynyrd Skynyrd originals 'Call Me The Breeze' and of course 'Sweet Home Alabama' - performed by Lynyrd Skynyrd together with all special guests.

Many of the rock musicians of the time had classical training, such as Freddy Mercury. They worked hard to conceal their roots from their fans. Classical training and long wigs over short hair. ZZ Top was unrecognizable without their dreadlock caps! KISS had their makeup, etc.

Missed them when they came to New Zealand, I was busy in hospital in a coma from a brain aneurism! When I came out of my coma, I got straight back and listened to these guys! I was at a live concert in Denver back in 1978 at Mile High Stadium (yea, we had a field pass and was in the middle stage about 25 feet back). More memorable than any concert I ever seen and I have seen many. This performance is, in my mind, a cover of the original LynyrdSkynyrd band. Sounds good. Not the same. Death pays a price. I hope you live your life like it makes a difference! The original band members did. And I was blessed to see it up close before tragedy changed it.

Love seeing my Alabama Boys on the stage with LS ( yes I know Bocephus was born in LA but his daddy was from here, and he's spent the majority of his life with a house here ) , And Bo Bice is holding his own... And we adopted LS cause well, this song and the fact they are from just down the road and they are just too damn cool. The south is represented well on that stage ... 3 Door Down, Ms... Hank Jr. Alabama, Bo Bice, Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd , Florida.

I love this song. Born and raised as an Alabaman. I saw them in the revival tour in the 90s. Sweet Home Alabama is a classic for a very good reason. Rest in Peace to the lost band members. ✌️🤘
